An in-depth look at the complex foundation formed under the existing Steinway Hall on West 57th in New York City and the lot next to it which is only sixty by eighty feet. Standing 1428 feet tall, problems like the hardest bedrock to dig into, windsway for the nearly one-quarter mile high building, and elevators that take up the least amount of usable space had to be solved. The most expensive apartment going at $57million, the interiors had to be the most luxurious to be found.
