Pilot

Carmie Henley wakes up on her thirteenth birthday to discover she has supernatural powers. She auditions for her middle school's musical, Fangs of the Opera, but her new powers take over, getting Carmie in trouble and aggravating local triple threat, and Carmie's competition for the lead role, Leanna. Carmie's best friend Kev, who works at Hammer and Tong Comics, remembers an old comic series called Blended about the offspring of mythical beings and humans. He reveals that Carmie is a Vampling: half human, half vampire. Carmie's confused but thrilled to have powers. A new kid arrives in town, Dylan Helsing. He's a hunter, descended from the great vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing, and his life's mission is to get Blendeds like Carmie off the streets. Dylan and hands over Blendeds to the Collector, a mysterious figure gathering Blendeds... and Kev's boss at the comic shop. Carmie is excited to use her powers but Kev insists she keeps them hidden. But when a sudden threat emerges, Carmie has to think fast, to either use her powers and reveal herself to her new friend Madison or stay hidden in the shadows.

Episode 2

Power Play

Rehearsals for Fangs of the Opera begin in earnest, as Carmie undertakes her role of understudy. Kev discovers more Blended comics and realizes that there are hunters who are looking for kids like Carmie to get them off the streets. He arrives at rehearsal to see Carmie freely using her powers and warns her again to stay incognito considering his new discovery. Carmie is less than enthused, wanting to make use of her newfound abilities, especially to one-up Leanna. Dylan volunteers backstage at the musical, under the supervision of Madison, to search for clues that might lead to a Blended. But when Carmie unintentionally causes a scene with her powers, Dylan's suspicions are raised... will he discover Carmie's true nature? The kids forge new friendships as Dylan and Kev talk at the comic shop, and Carmie and Madison walk home together. Meanwhile, back at the Henley house, Carmie's parents Bill and Aasha become fiercely competitive when they are goaded into playing one of the Twins' games, and they just can't stop.

Episode 3

Mirror Mirror

It's photo day for the Fangs of the Opera program, and Carmie is excited to be the center of attention for her individual photo. While Leanna butts ahead for her own personal photo shoot, Carmie finally makes it in front of the camera, but forgets that one of her newfound Vampling powers is that she glows in reflections... and photographs. While Carmie races to find a way to appear normal for her re-take, Kev hunts for the Blended hunter, theorizing it may be someone in their circle: a parent, a new kid, or even an employer. At the same time, the Collector nervously awaits a visitor to Hammer and Tong Comics, ushering customers and even Kev out early. His guest arrives, a fearsome Shapeshifter, who demands more Blendeds from the Collector's collection. Will Carmie figure out how to re-take her photo, or will a lurking Dylan catch a glimpse of her tell-tale glow? Will Kev find the hunter? And what does the Shapeshifter want with the Collector?

Siblings

The Twins force Carmie to help them at a gaming tournament. The Collector leaves Kev in charge of the store. Leanna livestreams from backstage of the musical.

Episode 5

Family Tree

Carmie, fed up with all the mystery surrounded herself and her origins, gets Kev to help her track down the author of the Blended comics, Octavia Rhodes, to see what she really knows about Carmie and the Blended world. They travel to the local university where she is rumored to work, but finding Octavia turns out to be more difficult than Carmie anticipated. Leanna ropes Dylan into practicing a new dance routine with her, insisting they're a couple in the meantime, but Dylan struggles to keep up. Mysterious agents show up at Carmie's house, and the Twins, convinced the agents are after Carmie, set out to protect her from them. Will Carmie and Kev find Octavia Rhodes, and will they want to hear what she has to say? Will Leanna and Dylan make a perfect musical theater couple? And what do the mysterious agents really want with the Henley family?

Creature Feature

Carmie, stressed about her Vampling life and possibly evil birth mother, and the musical, tries to relax by hanging out with her new friend Madison. They go shopping and to Madison's mom's restaurant as Carmie ponders her life and her family. The two end up at movie night at the school, where Carmie discovers there's more to Madison than she thought. Meanwhile, Rainey has gone missing, and the Twins and Kev set out to find him. When Kev's help proves to be limited, he calls in an unlikely ally to help with the search: Dylan. The Collector shows his masterpiece at movie night, a werewolf movie called The Wolves Come Out At Night, but the reception isn't what he was hoping for. What does Carmie discover about Madison? Will Dylan find Rainey, or will he discover the truth about Carmie first? And will the people truly understand the Collector's genius?

Episode 7

Uncovered

The Collector tells Dylan about his Blended encounter the previous night. He doesn't know what attacked him, but he knows it was a Blended, and it's close. Dylan is forced to act and go capture the Blended, as the Collector is running out of time to satisfy the Shapeshifter. Carmie is focused on the final rehearsal for the musical, stepping in as a chorus member, but Leanna is struggling with the pressure and the whole production seems off. When Dylan shows up to capture a Blended backstage, Carmie's pulled in two directions - be in the musical or save herself from the hunter. Kev witnesses the Shapeshifter and the Collector and learns the full story of what's going on with Dylan, the Collector, and the mysterious Shapeshifter. Will Dylan capture Carmie? Will the musical go one despite the battle happening backstage? And what's going on with the Collector and Shapeshifter, and will the Collector tell Kev the truth?

Episode 8

The Musical

Carmie and Kev confront Dylan about capturing Madison, as he packs up to leave town. Carmie pleads with Dylan to help them save Madison from the Collector and Shapeshifter. After all, they're friends, aren't they? Dylan seems unsure. The next day at the theater, final preparations are underway but Carmie is nowhere to be seen and Leanna's voice has not returned. Leanna tries to convince Jordan to let her use various non-verbal art forms to star in the play, but Jordan isn't having it. At Hammer and Tong, Kev gets in position to save Madison but discovers a package from Octavia, a comic that she promises will have all the answers that Carmie is seeking. Will the trio save Madison? What will the Shapeshifter do if she doesn't get the Blendeds she was promised? Will the musical have its lead? And what does Octavia's unpublished comic reveal about Carmie's future - and her past?
