House Poor
A show based in Canada that follows couples in all walks of life who own a home and are not on top of budgets and spending. They have home repair and renovation issue that need help but can't seem to work out how to financially cover this and change their financial lives. The hosts are a financial advisor and a builder, they are honest and tough with the couples which in turn helps them change their view on spending, waste and reality of home ownership. I think this is a good program for people who are having trouble financially whether they own a home or not. Watch at least one episode, it's worthwhile you may learn something or have a personal realization about your own financial life.
