A woman plots to kill her husband and pulls Billy into her plot. Peter continues his battle with Charles for control of the hotel.

Christine's new office is being built. Elizabeth sleeps with a movie director who is staying at the St Gregory. An agoraphobic has moved into the hotel and won't move out. Charles is playing dirty in his battle with Peter.

A man is staying at the hotel with his wife. Later a woman comes looking for him and claims to be his wife. Another guest recognizes Billy and tells her husband who is a Sheriff from where he comes from. He then has Billy arrested for murder.

Elizabeth continues to undermine Peter and Christine but her attitude improves after she is attacked. A woman wants to marry the son of her mother's gardener. However, things change when her family arrives.

Dave finally graduates from law school. Two of his old army buddies come to stay at the St Gregory and one brings a secret. Charles and Elizabeth work on dividing Christine and Peter in their fight for the hotel.

When someone offers to buy the hotel, Peter refuses to entertain it while Charles says it should be considered. Charles meets someone he knew, who left him because she didn't want to compete with his love for business. A man whose wife works at the hotel, claims she's mentally ill while she claims her husband is possessive and she left him. He will do whatever he has to get her back.

A flu epidemic hits the St. Gregory and it becomes very short-staffed. Peter is worried that Christine is overworking and not looking after herself. Julie is on a jury that acquits a man who starts staying at the hotel to avoid reporters.

Two women come to the hotel so that one of them can get back at her husband for cheating on her by hooking up with someone. A woman who recently lost her daughter, stays at the hotel so that she could get away from reminders of her child. When she bumps into a couple with baby, she thinks that their baby is hers so she takes her. Christine finds her and tries to talk to her.

A friend of Christine's is staying at the hotel to help forget a past tragedy but finds romance and the answer to a secret. A professional basketball player is coming apart under the pressure from his father.

Megan and Dave have split over his drug use but Dave continues to go downhill. A woman, who has been in a coma for the last ten years after an accident, is given a job at the St. Gregory's antique shop.

A well-known, high-flying advertising executive is staying at the St. Gregory but she starts to examine her personal life whilst she's staying there. Megan is expecting a baby and Dave failed the bar exam.
Episode 15

Peter's ex wife shows up, looking for a job. Peter gets her an interview but she is told the results of her physical, that she has a terminal disease and doesn't know how to handle it. And one of the hotel's employees, has managed to keep his illiteracy a secret but when he's offered a promotion and his estranged son comes and asks for his help; causes problems for him in every front.

Peter tries to help his wife as she's dying. Dave learns that his old fraternity is holding their initiation at the hotel. And he reminds them that hazing is prohibited. But during the initiation one of them decides to haze someone and he ends up in the hospital. Dave learns of it and tries to convince the guy to say what happened. Dave goes to the head of fraternity but he's the father of the one who did the hazing.

Christine has the fifteenth reunion of her high school class from the Tarrent Comanches. A few of the old conflicts arise between the attendees.

A doctor staying at the hotel is conducting interviews on women's sexual fantasies. However, his assistant starts dating one of the interviewees. Peter's niece runs away from home and invites herself to live in his penthouse.
Episode 19

A movie is being made in the St. Gregory but the lead actress suffers from a tumour. A retired actor watches the movie being made and reminisces. Christine has been made Woman of the Year and is considering running for political office.
Episode 20

A mother and daughter staying at the hotel are on a fully-escorted tour. The widow of Peter's best friend is spending a few days at the St. Gregory and has an unusual request of Peter.
Episode 21
Wed, May 27, 1987
A couple of ageing conmen have a competition over a woman staying at the St. Gregory. Christine's first real love comes back from the dead after being a prisoner-of-war and starts pursuing Christine once again.
Episode 22

A PI claims to have found a wealthy businessman's granddaughter who disappeared during a kidnapping. A childhood friend of Peter's turns up and causes him to reexamine his relationship with Christine.
