The local Neo Nazi group's leader, Jan Baltic, has scheduled his own hate-mongering speeches to undermine Solomon's efforts. One day, Solomon's son, David, attends Baltic's gathering to call him a liar and provide the facts about the Holocaust. Baltic's henchmen eventually stalk and kill David. Jonathan and Mark - who are helping Solomon in his efforts to warn people about the Neo Nazis - are forced to break the news to the old man, who is suffering from a heart condition. Solomon immediately suffers cardiac arrest. Later, Baltic and his henchmen are celebrating David's death and plotting their next move when the leader's young son (an impressionable lad who wants to be just like his father, against his mother's express wishes) accidentally sets off a machine gun that kills several people and has left Baltic brain dead. Jonathan visits Mrs. Baltic, informs her that Solomon is in need of a heart transplant and that since the two share the same blood type, she could donate his heart to Solomon. Mrs. Baltic is reluctant at first; she tells Jonathan that her husband used to be sweet, loving and hard-working, but then a firm headed by several Jewish officials bought out the company where he worked; he was among the employees who were laid off, and soon became convinced that Jews were "out to get him." Jonathan assures Mrs. Baltic that her late husband's cold-hearted actions have nothing to do with the biological functions of a human heart, and that the organ would do so much good for a man that is out to do good, so she consents to the operation. Later, after the operation, an intruding reporter reveals to Solomon who the donor was, causing Solomon to suffer another heart attack. Jonathan tries to convince Solomon that he must live to tell his story, but the old man is determined to will himself to die. However, Solomon is visited by David and his parents (who died in the Nazi death camp), who tell him that his story is vital to countering the Neo Nazi's hate propaganda and that he must live so that they might not be forgotten. Solomon is persuaded to live, and he is back on the public speaking front in no time.
