Episode 1
The Island

When their plane crashes on a desert island family man Douglas Jennings is perturbed by the over-the-top actions of flight attendant Brett Sullivan. They are soon met by other survivors - no-nonsense Harriet, religious Susan, Arnab, who accidentally kills the pilot and African prince Dudu who makes off in a life raft. Brett sees himself as the natural leader of the group - which does not bode well for the others.
Episode 2
The Camp

Harriet and Douglas discover a life raft and decide to escape but Douglas unwisely tells Arnab and, when Susan breaks down, offers to take her with him instead so Harriet lets Brett know the 'secret'. In the event they all turn up to where the raft is hidden and Brett decides to use it to build a shelter.
Episode 3
The Case

As supplies dwindle and tempers fray Arnab finds a telephoto lens camera and Brett decides to use it to discover what Harriet keeps in her mysteriously-guarded case. When he finally opens it Brett is triumphant but his plan backfires when Harriet makes an admission, leading him to make another one, which he hopes will top it.
Episode 4
The Trial

Douglas discovers that a nearby island is inhabited and wants to visit, but Brett, desperate to stop him leaving, puts him on trial for 'assaulting' Susan. Meanwhile, Arnab attempts to convince Susan that having sex with him will make Douglas jealous.
Episode 5
The Others

Brett and Douglas set sail for the other island, exchanging confidences about their lives, but, on arrival, find dozens of other survivors, including Susan's father Ted, who have disturbing news about Arnab. However Harriet and Susan have discovered it for themselves whilst a revelation about Brett prompts a speedy exit in a thunder-storm, which only one of the pair appears to survive.
Episode 6
The Rescue

Brett returns from the dead and punishes Douglas for leaving him behind as well as suggesting to Harriett that he may be her long lost son having learned that she is very wealthy. A pair of ecologists arrive on a mission to save the rare turtles - which the castaways have eaten. However they only have room for four survivors in their boat, prompting Douglas to do something very foolish. Furthermore a raft containing the inhabitants of the other island led by Ted appears on the horizon, seeking vengeance on Brett, who, they claim, caused the plane to crash.
