As father Jez Herriot, the nephelim Remiel not only gets Ella committed to a psych ward, the board names him acting head master after David objected to violation of her rights. Jez now has the school pay for private nurse Perie, in fact another nephelim, who sees Ella is injected with an addictive drug based on hypericum or St. John's wort, till she can pass herself off as the Faerie. Gentle Leon's torments now include Roxanne's campaign to break off all contact with Ella and Thelma invading the healthy boy's horny dreams, corpses being a disgusting turn-off, yet his noble nature makes him go visit, and when turned away and being refused any information by nurse Perie sneak in as package courier, but is thrown out by security after Perie catches him. Yet Thelma taunts Leon to prepare for a friend -expelled drug dealer Max- to be ready to take them in after he has to free Ella, cross-dressing as nurse, while Thelma steals the staff-weapon back from Jez to deal with the nephilim-nurse. Max's experience proves very useful to help Leon during Ella's withdrawal symptoms.

Board chairman Sir Ralph Cavendish assures Jez he won their trust since he took over as headmaster. Seeing even even 'nurse' Leon Taylor's angelic patience with Ella Dee is running low, undead Thelma convinces Ella to reveal her slayer-identity to him- after she tries to make him leave instead in vain, actually another living nightmare for him in itself. When it becomes clear Ella's condition is 500 years of aging catching up now her magical powers have been broken, she insists to try what her Pharaonic father did once: go trough the valley of death. Leon now must beg Max to help him find a safe hospital facility. Meanwhile Azazeal worries about now adolescent son Malachi's healthy lust luring him to danger near Ella, so Perie the Faerie gets a lusty home assignment. After Roxanne learns Leon's whereabouts from his roommate Tom and betrays him to Jez, the covert nephilim (fallen angel) Remiel intrudes Max's flat to enjoy her torturous death, but she manages to stab him in the neck and escapes; Leon has to get her back and to safety elsewhere and promise furious Max eternal gratitude, but unamused Azazeal has Max captured and tortured till he reveals enough info to send the murderous fairy for a fight to the death, but whose?

Leon is unhappy undead Thelma slips between his sheets while he makes love to Ella, the news Max was tortured to death switches her priority to total war on the nephilim. The board chairman installs Jez as Medenham's permanent headmaster and helps him grill Leon about Ella and supposedly Max's disappearance, but the boy convinces them, is readmitted and learns from naive roommate Tom his whereabouts were betrayed by Roxanne, who gets her deserts: a video of her bumping with Jez, who expected to (literally) beat novice Leon at kendo, the harsh samurai martial art he imposed on all Medenham students, but gets a fierce 'caning' from Ella who took Leon's place, while Malachi just watches amused and even blocks the door out; Jez is found hanged 'suicide from shame and remorse'. Tyrel returns as headmaster, with recovered Ella, who instantly spots the new student as her destined adversary Malachi. Azazeal grudgingly obeys his Satanic superiors' orders to leave, giving Malachi into their unspecified care, but implores Ella, the last anointed slayer, not to kill his son without asking if the knave, a unique spirit, isn't her perfect match; Thelma convinces her the boy is just a mean manipulator, so she challenges him- he chooses non-magical fencing...

Where the Heart Is

Sweet Leon found a way to celebrate Ella's 440th birthday with a candles cake, and organizes a celebratory night to which he invites Tom and even Malachi -who does a great job toying with her and Thelma's mind- out of gratitude he spared her life, but she rudely runs away wining she's too old to celebrate and can never start a loving family life with a mere mortal. Her cab driver turns out to be 'friend of the family': scary archangel Raphael, who came to put her in her place after failing once to kill Malachi and reminds her there is little truth in the Bible, except that God is vindictive. On her morbid morgue prowl of Lesbian lust, Thelma meets Maya Robertson, a more recent undead girl, and resolves to help her come to terms with their state. When Malachi cruelly tells Leon in the dining hall he's just not playing at the same level, therefore just 'warming up' Ella for him, who spared his life being drown to him, not the other way around, the kind boy can't control his fists and is suspended for a week, according to the diabolical plan, so Malachi can court unhindered, taking her to a 1928 Berlin club where he is reminded of his hard-fought destiny by a superior one of whose names is Mephistopheles. Loyal lover Leon convinces Thelma to help him tail Ella, fearing she'll lack the guts to strike. Instead Raphael promises him help to level the sides, by transporting Leon there and then, albeit in a particularly perilous position to witness her being seduced; yet just that sight...

Soon first Ella, then Malachi, experience what Raphael viz. Mephistopheles explain to be the punishment for disobeying their fate, only to be undone if they resume their destined battle: she breaks out in boils, he goes blind. Yet they persist, although the symptoms grow worse, only she hides, Malachi seeks her after spotting on ear a passage to her subterranean dwelling but gets lost, and promises to help Thelma by erasing the mark which scares off Maya if she guides him to Thelma, but what about the consequences? Leon is shown the way by Raphael, but revolted by the unexpected pestilent sight, and by the time he braves himself to return sees literally blind love...

Malachi works on Tom, who feels neglected as Leon's room- and play-mate. Thelma is lectured by Ella, but retorts she was spelled by sex. Ella confidently attacks Malachi in the shower, but Leon's frightened instinct is right: the knife of Orokiah breaks on his bare, unwounded chest. After reading up that Malachi's power is increased feeding from his succubi, they decide veteran Ella shall deal with ghost Maya's corps, Leon must 'simply' decapitate Alex with an ax. Malachi is sexually insatiable, on top of Jo and his succubi he goes in 'sex addiction therapy' with Roxanne. The succubus-slayers should strike simultaneously, while Thelma tells the tearful truth to Maya, but.

Tom tells Leon he feels Ella just doesn't treat him well, makes him miserable; Ella admits to Leon she doesn't expect to become lovers again, he discovers she even keeps secrets for him with traitor Thelma. Malachi drags Tom into his perverse group, even marks his neck magically, as Leon discovers, who gets a sword to decapitate his mate, who wakes up just then. next scene, Leon reports, marked himself, to Malachi, who assigns him to spike Ella's drink with St. John's worth and thus neutralize her powers. The all too often abused, dehumanized lover now punishes her, tied up for rape, and reads in the book of Orokiah she can be killed by utter bleeding, but Thelma saw that and gets the Volta weapon from Malachi's room...

The Showdown

Life on Meddenham estate is almost completely perverted now Malachi has turned nearly all students into his cult followers, ready for the end of the world. Ironically wicked sinner Roxanne is now the only ordinary student who resists, converting devoutly, rejecting her Satanic sex therapy patient's passes. Ella and Thelma work out Leon, who they keep caged, was tricked by Malachi like his roomie Tom, playing into their deepest desires, being his their lovers' equals; they trick him to eat tranquilizers, so Thelma can invade his dream to make him experience a horny boy's worst fear, castration, which cures him from the curse, but his heart is broken by Ella's utter lack of trust in him, so he considers their love hopeless and over. Thelma appears as an angel to Roxanne while she prays in chapel, and gets her to steal the amber stone so Ella can try to kill Malachi when he was till a baby, but the loss of Leon breaks her concentration, she fails badly wounded. Now Thelma alerts Leon, who was gently told by undead Tom to return to his love and be happy. Meanwhile Roxanne's pure heart makes her the perfect sacrifice for Malachi to start the apocalypse, which Mephistopheles, physically broken by ninefold hell, warns Leon will be disastrous, regardless which host of angels wins...
