After unsuccessfully trying to find a date for Lucy, they settle on Uncle Harry's recommendation and take their mother out to dinner at a swank Chinese restaurant. The teenager's have more success than their mother at utilizing the chopsticks, but Lucy shows her son a thing or two on the dance floor.

Insisting to meet the woman before Uncle Harry does, Lucy is surprised to find that the service has matched Uncle Harry up with Lucy's old friend, Vivian Jones, who came all the way from New Mexico to meet Harry.

Uncle Harry then tries to secretly discover where the teenagers found the gold ore, first by bribing them with a cooked turkey instead of the leftovers Lucy had prepared for them. Soon Lucy discovers Harry's motives, and they decide to go in together on finding more gold after Kim remembers the location where she found it. Some sticky situations surface when the group returns to the locale where they hope to strike it rich.
