In the season premiere, the nine newlywed couples are put on the spot to reveal their first impressions of the couples they will be competing with. There's also a paintball battle that pits the men against the women, with the losers cooking breakfast for the winning sex. The couples' communication skills are tested when blindfolded husbands strip down to their skivvies while their wives instruct them where to find their clothes. The winning couple of this challenge will earn safety from elimination.

Newlyweds Returning to ABC

ABC has renewed its vows contract with its newlyweds.The Alphabet has ordered a second season of Here Come the Newlyweds for midseason.In addition to the renewal, ABC has also ordered eight episodes to be produced, two more than last season.The reality series pits nine, well, newlyweds against each other as they vie for dough to establish their new lives together.
