The Schroeders jump to the rescue when a couple of critical cases come to the clinic. First, they perform an emergency c-section on a cat who has been in labor for two days, and then a horse with a lacerated leg requires some creative care. Other cases include a rock n' roll goat, a parrot nearing forty years of age, and a shifty Shih Tzu with a worrisome wound. Finally, Dr. Erin attempts to teach her son Charlie a lesson in responsibility.

Together, they give a frisky feline a makeover, and relieve a mama cow of her serious eye issue. Later, Dr. Ben and son Chase get crafty with a splint repair for a young calf. They finally squeeze in some much needed family time as the Schroeders set sail on their new boat.

Dr. Ben finds himself in his element as he helps two young ladies with their show heifers, and Erin helps to improve a cat's quality of life after its tail becomes infected. Together, they surgically remove a cows extra appendage, a call back to one of their very first dates. We also have a first for our series: a painted turtle. Lots of fun and heart to be had all around.

Emotions run high when the Schroeder family races their beloved dog Happy to the clinic with an emergency. A rancher is desperate to find relief for her 20 year-old horse who has difficulty walking and might be on her last legs. Elsewhere, wild instincts are put to the test as Drs. Ben and Erin make sure a rescued raccoon knows how to fish. Thankfully, Dr. Erin's best friend from vet school is in town to lend a hand.

Poultry in Motion

Why did the chicken cross the road? To find Docs Ben and Erin, of course. Together, they help a stray clucker who's left out in the cold, before finding her a forever home. Dr. Ben also helps another flighty patient get back on his feet and does some award-winning splint work on a puppy. Meanwhile, Dr. Erin outfits an old dog with some new wheels, all while dealing with an emotional case that's a high-stakes situation.

Dinner and a Moo-vie

The Schroeders work hard and play hard when the first house call of the day leads to a fun antiquing trip. After treating a hawk with a life-threatening injury, some dental work on a group of horses leads Ben and Erin out on a trail ride. Dr. Erin makes a neighborly visit to a coughing canine, performs some minor surgeries, and helps a kitty back on its feet. Through it all, the Docs make time to head out to a local ranch invitational.
