Episode 1
"Comedian Tony Hancock stars, in this BBC situation comedy TV series, as Anthony Aloysius St John Hancock, a down-at-heel comedian living in East Cheam." It should read:- "Comedian Tony Hancock stars, in this BBC situation comedy TV series, as Anthony Aloysius St John Hancock, a down-at-heel comedian living in Earls Court."
Episode 2
In a radio studio, they're doing an episode of the rural melodrama "The Bowmans"(a play on "The Archers"). Cast member Tony ad libs and can't keep in character. He's going to get sacked, so he tries to make the most of his final programme.
Episode 3
In Tony's seedy flat, he has a massive ham radio set up, which he wiles away time with talking to improbable foreigners. But when an opportunity to be a hero arises from a distress signal, Tony's not up to the challenge.
Episode 4
At BBC Television Centre, Tony and several others are trapped in a lift just as the workday is ending.For several hours he regales the his less than thrilled captive audience with mood-swinging tirades of philosophy and group singing.
Episode 5
Tony goes to donate blood,but typically, he turns it into an issue of status and class when he discovers he has a rare type. He bothers the hospital staff by insisting on updates as to who receives his elite blood.
Episode 6
Anthony interviews three prospective mothers of his theoretical offspring - all naturally unsuitable in their own way.
