Episode 1
Lisa hides Sam from Mr. Colloudos, who has problems with cockroach infestation. Richard sets up a romantic dinner date in the empty flat next door, only to discover it's been inhabited by Hampton Court's newest resident, Betty Wilson.
Episode 2
in this episode, the housemates borrow money from each other to pay their rent. Sophie's parents turn up and think Sam is Sophie's baby. Guest starring Lucy-Anne Elliott and Simon Hill as Sam, and Henri Szeps and Sheila Kennelly as Mr. and Mrs. Verstak.
Episode 3
Tired of Richard & Trevor hogging all the food, Lisa decides not to cook for them anymore. The boys fend for themselves by making a stew with everything they can find.
Episode 4
Newly unemployed Richard offers to beat Mr Colloudos's rival at chess in exchange for his rent paid off. Mixups happen as babysitter Trev leaves Sam in the care of Betty, who is already babysitting the neighbors' infant, Diana. Guest starring Lucy-Anne Elliott as Diana, and Simon Hill as Sam. Note: The only episode where both babies who play Sam are seen on screen together.
Episode 5
Richard volunteers to carry out repairs, but tries getting others to do the work for him. Embarrassed about not having had her "first time", Sophie wants the flat vacated for her special date.
Episode 6
Trevor leaves for an overnight gig in Newcastle, while Lisa's mother arrives and gets everybody cleaning house.
Episode 7
An unusually large power bill causes the flatmates to cut back on their electricity use. Richard tries getting Betty to buy his surplus stock of detergent bottles.
Episode 8
Betty's mending skills are called for when Trevor damages Mr. Colloudos's curtains with the vacuum cleaner. Richard finds a new job entertaining at parties as a clown.
Episode 9
The flatmates concoct a plan to try and persuade Mr. Colloudos not to sell Hampton Court to a developer.
Episode 10
Sophie is on a cleaning spree and loses the boys' football tickets. Betty goes home for some Chinese food.
Episode 11
Not wanting to scare her new boyfriend away, confusion arises when Lisa hides the fact that Sam is her son.
Episode 12
The flatmates are annoyed with Trevor for inviting a Russian rock band to stay the night.
Episode 13
In an attempt to settle his rent debt, Richard bets on the horse races. Lisa is worried that Sam might be ill.
