A Test Of Friendship

Go behind the scenes with the next generation of British gym stars who are busy proving they have what it takes to climb to the top of their sport. Best friends Amelie and Phoebe head to Baku in Azerbaijan to fight against 44 other European countries to qualify for a spot at the Youth Olympic Games. But if they do manage to qualify, only one gymnast can go. Can their friendship survive the pressure? Olympic and Commonwealth gymnast Nile Wilson takes on a seemingly impossible challenge.

Meanwhile acrobatic gymnastic partners Finn and Kirsten have been invited to showcase their talents to some younger gymnasts and hand out medals at the annual awards ceremony.

And James and Ekraj spend some time together out of the gym where they talk about the British Championships, which is just weeks away.

It's the Artistic British Championships, and the juniors are up on day one. Alice is competing for the first time at junior level and has strong competition as she's up against Amelie and Phoebe's teammates from the European championships. All seems to be going well until she's struck by a severe case of nerves, and it looks as though her competition is in jeopardy. Meanwhile Ekraj is late for podium training and doesn't seem very focused on the competition; teammate James is looking strong but now has to help coach Karen get Ekraj back on track. Will any of our juniors be able to pull a great performance out of the bag and do themselves proud in Liverpool?

With such strong competition will the girls be able to hold their nerve and make an impression in their first British as seniors?
