To spice things up on the long train ride home, Mike decides to use the book he's reading to create some fun. The book is of the top 10 best Australian songs and soon he has a beating ring going to see who will guess the top song correctly. Elsewhere on the train a girl called Tiffany is desperate to get a part on the Australian version of the television series Survivor and Stefano, another train passenger, help her out.

Stefano boards the train looking very different - in a suit. He had had a heart to heart with Mee Ling who convinced him to aim for a better job. In order to help him with his new job hunting the others on the train design his CV to go with the new suit. Mike reveals who won the top song of the best Australian song competition he ran the previous day, the winner being Kwan, only he never bet on it.

Colin is desperate to go to France to see the Aussie girls in Moulin Rouge but wants someone to go with him for the ride. Poppy meanwhile has to fill in an insurance claim against her salon which burnt down. She is nervous though since her insurer is HIH.

Proud of her three-month-old son Ryan, Pam decides that it is time to share the photos with the other train passengers. Najette says that he is cute, but others fail to see past the bad photography. When Stefano and Colin find a wallet they are determined to return it to it's owner, but it may lead to another problem.

Poppy is still single and alone so Pam and Tiffany decide to go behind her back and sign her up on an online dating service. The reward for returning the lost wallet is revealed as being a packet of ecstasy pills and Stefano and Colin still can't agree on it. Kwan has problems of his own when another employee turns out to be fierce competitor.

After months of silence, Najette receives a letter from Halim. Halim writes that he is happy, but the others on the train read between the lines. Earlier in the week, Tiffany and Pam found Poppy a potential date online. Because Poppy hasn't contacted him, Tiffany asks Poppy for the man's phone number. Poppy gives the number to Tiffany, but immediately regrets it. Kwan discovers that Gunther is trying to steal a client.
