Episode 1
We start off by dropping in on the Celebrity Big Brother house before checking out TV3 News for the latest on movie star Johnny Depp's financial troubles. This is followed by The Secret Lives of 5 Year Olds and Spy in the Wild before moving on to see Irish star Jamie Dornan's appearance on Ellen. Living on the List gave our viewers an insight into the struggles of the people on the HSE waiting lists. We followed George Bamby on his beat in Confessions of a Papparazzi before finishing off with a classic in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
Episode 2
We drop in on Ireland's most interesting singletons in FIRST DATES IRELAND before checking in on what's been happening with Donald Trump on TV3 NEWS.TODAY WITH MAURA AND DAITHÍ checked in with the clergy to see how they're appealing to the younger generation before on to the irreligious SPRING BREAK WITH GRANDAD. We followed some budding entrepeneurs who made the brave trip into the DRAGON'S DEN before checking out the glamourous BEAUTY QUEEN and SINGLE. TOUGHEST PLACE TO BE gave us an insight into the Ecudorian health system that gave us some perspective before we finished off by dropping in on the rather energetic THE LATE LATE SHOW valentine's special.
Episode 3
We open with a duet of celebrity reality shows by dipping in on RTE's DANCING WITH THE STARS and travelling to India to check-in on THE REAL MARIGOLD HOTEL. Part two opened with more celebs, cooking up a storm in CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF before moving onto the more free and natural THE GREAT BRITISH SKINNY DIP. Part three gave us the incredibly touching story of Owen Suskind, an autistic man who as a child learned to communicate with the world through Disney characters. We finished up by watching STEVE BACKSHALL'S EXTREME MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE and ONLY CONNECT.
Episode 4
In ROOM TO IMPROVE this week, Dermot Bannon worked his ever reliable magic, more of which was seen in RTE NEWS coverage of the quadruple calves born in a north Co. Clare farm. Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick wowed us with his work in THE SUPERVET before we looked at the new dating format LOVE AT FIRST KISS. We followed Jessica Fletcher in another mystery in MURDER SHE WROTE before gorging on THE TWO MILLION CALORIE BUFFET. ROSS KEMP: LIBYA'S MIGRANT HELL was a fascinating observance of the illegal migrant slave trade before weighing in on OPERATION TRANSFORMATION.
Episode 5
We dropped in ANT AND DEC: SAT NIGHT TAKEAWAY where they were joined by Mrs. Brown herself. In RTE NEWS: SIXONE, they showed us the drive-thru Ash Wednesday blessings in Co. Galway. HOW DID YOU GET SO RICH? joined the founders of Poundland to see how the 1% live. Our households then measured themselves against kids in the spelling challenge, THE BIG SPELL. #marmarlade FOUR DAYS IN NOVEMBER made us all feel proud again of the historic victory over the All Blacks, the first in 115 years and THE LAST LEG lightened the mood with a bagel stacking contest. DEAFENING told the touching tale of what it is to live with deafness in the family before we finished up with a musical twist in EVEN BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL.
Episode 6
DANIEL AND MAJELLA'S TRIP joins up with their returning road trip around Ireland's B&Bs. Our households get great amusement out of TV3's NEWS coverage of infant children walking in on their father and he tries to discuss the situation in Korea with BBC News. A KILLING IN MY FAMILY gave us an insight into the lives of young children who've had to deal with murder in their family and in THE SECRETS OF YOUR FOOD Philip Boucher-Hayes gave us an insight into what goes into simple treats like soft gums. We watched WILD THINGS, a curious comical game show format followed by a flat pack wedding in DON'T TELL THE BRIDE. ÉIRE FHIÁIN wowed us with it's beautiful photography of the Irish countryside and we finished up with the heart wrenching tale of the Tuam babies on THE LATE LATE SHOW as told by Catherine Corless, the fearless historian who unearthed the situation.
Episode 7
Our households get into the spirit of the national holiday by watching ST. PATRICK'S FESTIVAL before moving over and checking out the competition in BRITAIN'S NEXT TOP MODEL. In part 2 we watched RTE NEWS: 9 O'CLOCK followed by WHAT ARE YOU EATING?. RANDOM ACTS AS GAEILGE gave an insight into the irish language for Seachtain na Gaeilge. We watched the curiously competent snake catchers in SNAKE CITY before checking out BEAT THE BRAIN. Finally we finished by watching THE DUBLINERS LIVE AT VICAR STREET before being serenaded to the credits by Angela and Eileen in Castleknock.

Episode 9
On Thursday we watched the love thirsty singletons on FIRST DATES. We checked in on TV3 NEWS on the Friday before seeing what our participants thought about HOW QUIZZING GOT COOL: TV BRAINS OF BRITAIN. FLASHY FUNERALS showed us that your last hurrah doesn't have to be a dull affair. We kept it glam as our households watched IRELAND'S BEAUTY QUEENS before watching something a bit grittier in BARE KNUCKLE FIGHT CLUB. Part 4 flitted between THE ZOO where we followed the staff behind the scenes before moving onto rodents of a different sort in SCANNÁL: CAUGHT IN A RAT TRAP a look back at the Boomtown Rats.
Episode 10
From the local to the exotic, our households first watched BIG WEEK ON THE FARM before weighing in on the antipodean alternative BONDI RESCUE. Our pet loving families then got their teeth into ME and MY DOG: THE ULTIMATE CONTEST before reviewing the divisive biblical character in MARY MAGDALENE: ART'S SCARLET WOMAN. GALAPAGOS gave us a new angle on the incredible South American Islands. We watched NAZI SCRAPBOOK: THE AUSCHWITZ ALBUM, a harrowing depiction of life in the concentration camp. Sharon Horgan's CATASTROPHE lightened the mood somewhat before we finished up by watching the iconic Oscar-winning SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.
Episode 11
We opened with a throwback to years gone by in REELING IN THE YEARS before getting our households critiques on BRITAINS GOT TALENT. We checked out the magic of the Brennan brothers in AT YOUR SERVICE before moving on to THE WORLD ACCORDING TO KIDS. The evergreen country music industry was the subject of a special on THE LATE LATE SHOW before we moved to the dark side in MY ONLINE NIGHTMARE. Our couch critics were suitably impressed by what London cabbies have to go through on THE KNOWLEDGE: THE WORLDS TOUGHEST TAXI TEST, before strolling with omnipresent happy pear in TRACKS AND TRAILS.
Episode 12
Our households viewed and critiqued a wide range of programs this week including the highly cinematic plot involving Paul and Niamh in FAIR CITY. Ciaran Mulooly gave a highly detailed breakdown of the events at Rory McIlroy's wedding in Cong, Co. Mayo on RTE NEWS. GRIT: TOUGH HONEY BADGER gave an interesting insight into this tough little creature before we checked in on ANTIQUES ROADSHOW and OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE CLEANERS. Our households also gave their two cents on TRAWLERMAN TALES and the touching MIND OVER MARATHON before we rounded out affairs with the evergreen GREASE which got our couch bound critics bopping.
