Art Trails of the Riviera

The Art Trail of the French Riviera includes towns such as Aix, Cagnes-Sur-Mer, Arles, St.Paul de Vence, Nice, Antibes and Biot. We see the famous artists studios and sites where some painted.

Episode 4

Colonial Australia

Zay Harding explores the colonial history of the State of Victoria in Australia. Starting in the Grampian Mountains, he meets the original inhabitants: the Aboriginal people. He then heads to the gold rush towns of Ballarat, Bendigo and Stawell, where he pans for gold, takes part in a Chinese Dragon Festival, and runs the country's most famous footrace - the Stawell Gift. Zay cycles along the Great Ocean Road, taking in the famous Shipwreck Coast, before heading to Melbourne to explore the city's grand Victorian arcades and architecture. Then he heads back into bush country for the Ned Kelly trail, where he investigates the history of Australia's most notorious outlaw, from Kelly's birthplace in Beveridge to his place of execution at the Old Melbourne Gaol. Finally, Zay explores the roots of the founding of a new country.

Trekker Guide Judith Jones travels from Cambridge in East Anglia up to Sheffield in Yorkahire, then York and onto the Yorkshire Dales. She continues on to Newcastle in Northumberland and then takes a 3 mile ferry journey to Farne Island where she views many nesting birds including Cormorants and Puffins.

Megan visits the central area of Japan, starting in Kyoto and the flea market that occurs once a month, Fushimi Inari Shinto Shrine, Toji Buddist Temple. She sees a cat cafe, which are very popular as many apartment rentals do not allow pets. She also visits the home of the Ninja at Iga - Ueno.
