After taking a home pregnancy test, and learning they are not pregnant, Giuliana and Bill discuss if they are ready to have a baby. While Giuliana is preparing to host the red carpet at the Emmys, she volunteers to babysit for a co-workers son. Giuliana and Bill have their hands full babysitting... and it doesn't help that they're babysitting the night before Giuliana has a big day of work at the Emmys. During the Emmy broadcast, Giuliana blurts out that she and Bill are trying to have kids. Bill is shocked that Giuliana shared that personal information on national television.

Giuliana and Bill are settling into their new Chicago home, and discuss getting medical help to get pregnant. They meet with a doctor who advises them to keep trying naturally, but outlines a fertility plan. Bill has to fly to Indiana and Virginia (for speaking engagements) and to New York (to appear on Rachel Ray)... while Giuliana is in her prime ovulation time.
