After they crash the stage at the Jingle Ball, Girls5Eva has been signed by a new label, Property Records, and learn on their first meeting with the label representative, Tate, that they have six weeks to record their first album. This deadline places them in what they call album mode, but each woman has to figure out how to juggle what is another priority, different for each, in her life. How much focus they collectively place on their other priorities in comparison to the album is affected by a chance encounter with Larry. Arguably the one with the most to lose if she doesn't prioritize her personal issue over the album in what may be an all or nothing proposition is Gloria, with all four needing to decide how much that issue will affect their collective decisions, which if they proverbially choose Gloria may mean no album.

Episode 2
Thu, May 5, 202229 mins
In their first trip into the recording studio, Girls5Eva meets Ray, the sound engineer for the album, he who proverbially came with the facility i.e. at no extra cost. Ray shows some hidden talents which places him in higher regard by most in the group, that is except Dawn who feels that her cherished self-appointed position in the group is at risk because of him. Meanwhile, camera hog Wickie continues to do whatever it takes to attract the attention of paparazzi. She has a change of heart when one from the most recent photos taken in such a session in front of paparazzi is published showing a physical flaw that she thought she had been hiding well. And Summer and Kev have to decide if there is another option beside divorce in they knowing they can't live and haven't been living together as husband and wife, yet not threaten the brand that is "Summer and Kev".

Episode 3
Thu, May 5, 202226 mins
With a month to go until the album needs to be completed and released, the girls come to the difficult realization that no one knows that they are in album mode in they not having a publicist. Appointing herself as the group's "Amanda" i.e. the seemingly ubiquitous name of most such publicists, Wickie believes they need some free publicity in riding off the coattails of a celebrity who actually knows and likes them. She thinks she's found the perfect opportunity when they find out that Lil Stinker is filming a new cameo-studded video, he inviting them to the shoot when Wickie reaches out to them. Beyond the shoot ending up not being exactly what they envisioned - they thus needing to make their opportunities when they see them - a couple of the girls have competing priorities: Dawn has to bring Max to the shoot, she struggling between exposing him to the potential doorstep of celebrity and needing to be "mom"; and Gloria ran into Caroline a few days ago, she, in obsessing about getting back together with her which means being there but still aloof, has to overcome the former in no phones on the set.

Episode 4
Thu, May 12, 202228 mins
Ray informs the girls that the label wants them to write and perform a love song of the gut wrenching, truthful variety for the album. Between the four of them, they have four very different real life examples that are their current love lives from which to draw inspiration. Dawn is in the steady "sweatpants and granny underwear" variety where she and Scott have settled into a comfortable situation cuddling on the couch watching new episodes of their current favorite television show, a reality one called Business Throne, only with each other. Gloria is in the flush of renewed love in having gotten back together with Caroline. Wickie is in the latest of her "non-disclosure" sex only relationships with an unnamed celebrity, she only divulging he with the Lakers. But the one with the greatest potential for the basis of a song is Summer, who is trying to find her "number two" after her official break with Kev, she having gone on her first real post-Kev date. Things for her take a turn when she receives an unexpected visit from her evangelical parents, Chris and Kris Dutkowsky, who have come for the express purpose, like they themselves did before their own marriage and as Summer did before she and Kev got married, for Summer to take an official vow of purity until marriage to that number two, something in which she doesn't truly believe for this stage of her life but her parents who she doesn't want to disappoint. While Summer has to decide what to do ultimately taking into account the accidental discovery of the real reason for her parents' strong belief in the matter, Dawn embarks on her own form of cheating on Scott.

Episode 5
Thu, May 19, 202227 mins
With not much time to spare until their recording studio time runs out, Dawn has finally written what was the requested love song that somewhere in her subconscious is personal to her. However, Tate points out that they can't use the song as written as it is also too personal to millions of others in a similar way. Dawn, with Summer by her side, has to come up with an alternative under pressure, which is how they felt when they worked in misery under Larry. Meanwhile, Summer, avowed anti-cosmetic surgery, shows signs that she has gone against her vow. And superstar recording artist T.K., who has not divulged his/her identity to the world, is in the recording studio at the same time as Girls5Eva. Gloria is certain that she knows T.K.'s identity, that person who is personal to all of them in the group. Wickie decides to be Gloria's partner in crime in trying to uncover the mystery of who T.K. is, but for Wickie to prove Gloria wrong.

Episode 6
Thu, May 26, 202231 mins
For a song that contains a solo that Dawn wrote about her grandmother, Tate, rather than Wickie getting the solo as usual, wants the group members to audition for the position. Threatened, Wickie has to look into herself and her past as to why she is so competitive about singing. And Dawn, who ultimately admits that she back doored the process in playing Tate without his knowledge in wanting the solo for this song in it being so personal to her, has to look into herself as to why she isn't more straightforward in asking for what she truly wants. What Tate also asks of them is to clear their proverbial closets of any skeletons in preparation for the album release in knowing that any of those skeletons could sink them. The only item that they can think of is a prank reality show pilot they did in the early 2000s. Gloria believes the skeleton in question is the only remaining outstanding copy of said pilot that was given to the one and only prankee on the show, a man named Percy. Gloria and Summer, who are able to track down Percy, have differing opinions about what to do about Percy who seems to have been traumatized by his experience on the show.

Episode 7
Thu, Jun 2, 202229 mins
Dawn, Summer, Gloria and Wickie have completed recording all the tracks for the album, proud of their accomplishment especially having done it on their own terms. The next steps are to decide what will be the first single, and for Tate to present the label's release plan, the four who have some ideas of their own on how best to market the album and themselves even before Tate mentions what he has in mind. In the process, Wickie is hit upon by Scott's proverbial "lunch lady" colleague from the school, Sheawn. Wickie decides to drop her "celebrity" only dating rule to go "basic" with Sheawn, solely for ulterior motives. Dawn, a hypochondriac at the best of times to which her family doctor, Dr. Cole, can attest, is feeling like she is coming down with yet another one of her self-diagnosed mysterious diseases, perhaps resulting from a release of the stress of what was album mode. Summer may inadvertently provide some more specific clues to Dawn about the nature of her symptoms. And Gloria and Caroline, feeling the need for some alone time without Gloria's father, decide it's time to buy a place of their own. Summer is able to convince them to use Kev as their real estate agent, he just having gotten into the business solely in the need to make money as he is living in Summer's basement. Kev may have a good idea about what Gloria is feeling in he believing he having gone through a different version of the same thing with Summer.

Episode 8
Thu, Jun 9, 202233 mins
Girls5eva learns that it is only on the final shortlist of two acts and has not actually yet been chosen the opening act for Collab's world tour, they and Co-Z Boi who will be auditioning at a real concert before the Property Brothers make the final decision between the two. The audition may be the least of their worries as while they all outwardly want the tour, each member has a secret or not so secret personal issue which may be in direct conflict with going on the tour. Gloria, now back together with Caroline, is afraid that if they are apart, she will end up straying in never having sewn wild oats, the temptation and opportunity to do so which may be too strong with probable groupies on the tour. Summer learns that her and Kev's plans for Stevia have fallen through meaning that Stevia would have to stay with Kev just the two of them, something that neither Kev or Summer may be prepared to let happen in Kev's immaturity. Wickie doesn't want to admit it, but she is slowly falling in love with Sheawn (despite his last name unknown to her) and may not really be prepared to leave him in what is the beginning romance stage of their relationship. But the biggest issue may be faced by Dawn, who at age forty, is pregnant. While she and Scott are happy about the baby news, the grueling nature of a tour may be incompatible with being pregnant especially in what is considered her geriatric stage of human female productive life.
