Later they go to Abby who after talking to Leonard says that he sent the agent on an undercover assignment and that he has a video that shows that Sam killed the agent. Abby gives him a copy and when he sees it he says that the man was alive when he left and the tape was altered. So he sets out to find the actual tape.
