Also, they want plenty of tropical planting. With a budget of £4,500, can Charlie and Lee punch above their weight?

Gloucester

In Gloucester, Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers pitch for an elaborate Chelsea Flower Show-inspired garden makeover. The vast plot of land that wraps around their house embarrasses homeowners Sam and Sean.

Holmfirth

Adrian and Gail moved back from Australia to their home in Holmfirth five years ago. Having renovated their house with a modern interior, they now want a garden to match, but they have run out of ideas.

Episode 10

Stockport

Philip and Lorraine in Stockport have had their garden since 1987. Despite doing up their house, their garden remains untouched. With a budget of £4,750, they want to turn this unloved and forgotten space into a stately garden, with secret passageways, big urns, a tiled patio and lots of posh planting. Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers try to come up with designs that would not look out of place in a stately home. But who will come out on top?

Gillian and Mark are retired teachers who have moved to their forever home, a Victorian house in Oxford. But the garden is causing problems: a patio covered with matting and a broken pathway are just some of the issues, not to mention it's boring.

Wantage

Charlie Dimmock takes on the Rich brothers to design a contemporary garden with a nod to Zimbabwe. Grace and her mum Agnes have a budget of £3,500 for this ambitious project.

Ellesmere Port

In Ellesmere Port, the back of James's house looks more like a building site than a garden. He is desperate for a garden makeover and wants a Cornish coastal haven inspired by coastal trips to the seaside when he was a kid.

Ben, Shelley and their kids Eva and Maya live in Wing in Buckinghamshire. Having travelled extensively across Europe, the couple now dream of a Mediterranean courtyard-style garden to remind them of their adventures abroad.

Oldham

Nigel and Deborah live in Oldham. Having spent the last year renovating their home with a cool mid-century interior, it's now time to tackle the garden. They want it to reflect their home, but with Nigel loving concrete and rusty metal, it has to have an industrial feel. They are open to anything, with the only criteria being that the garden mustn't be normal.

Episode 29

Roundhay

James and Rox live in their dream Edwardian house in Roundhay, but their garden isn't working. It's open to the road, so not safe for their boys Jake and Ethan, and the couple loathe it. They want a family-friendly space that gives them an area to entertain and, more importantly, is fun for the kids. They also want to grow vegetables, and it's important that the garden encourages their two cats back outside.

Milton Keynes

Lucy, Michael and their daughter Cherry live in Milton Keynes. They have a large but unsafe garden, and they have run out of ideas about how to change it. The couple dream of a safe family space that works for them and their beloved dogs. They are also keen to grow vegetables, so they want a zoned garden with a modern feel.

Moreton-in-Marsh

Greg and Charlotte live in Moreton-in-Marsh in the picture-perfect Cotswolds. Their garden is functional but lacks character, and they dream of a space that works for them and their two children, Winter and Albert. Their ideal garden would be country cottage-themed and reflect the Cotswolds while also providing zones for the children and a bar for them to enjoy sundowners. Can Arit and the Rich Brothers make this happen on a budget of £4,500?

Sakinah and Zumri from Hull have a bland, featureless garden, and they are at a loss as to what to do about it. Louise and Nick live near Leeds and have a huge garden. They want a contemporary patio and a farmhouse style garden, and Charlie, Harry and David have a budget of £6,000 to do it.

Alastair and Anna live in Winchester and badly want their sloped garden transformed into a curvaceous country cottage idyll. Charlie and Arit have a budget of £5,500 to make it happen.

Farnborough

Rebecca and Michael in Farnborough want a safe family garden for their three daughters, but it also needs to serve as a memorial space. Charlie and Arit have £3,000 to do it.
