Jeremy Dehut and Barry Britnell visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, and visit the Church of the Nativity to help change the Americanized image of the circumstances surrounding the birth of Jesus. Then, they travel to the temple mount in Jerusalem to see where the baby Jesus would have been dedicated by walking a excavated 1st century road next to Temple Mount.

Jeremy Dehut and Barry Britnell travel to Nazareth to see what life might have been like for Jesus during his childhood. They visit Nazareth Village, a living museum and 1st century replica village, walk through a furnished synagogue, and see a carpenter practice his trade using 1st century tools.

Jeremy Dehut and Barry Britnell travel to the shores of the Jordan River as they discuss the ministry of John the Baptist and visit two different locations along Jordan's banks to get a clearer idea of what the location would have looked like during the time of Jesus. They then journey into the wilderness of Judea and experience the unforgiving elements of the area Jesus would have been during his temptations.

They then take a boat ride out on the Sea for themselves to get a taste of what fishing would have been like in the 1st century. Follow along as Jeremy Dehut and Barry Britnell visit places surrounding the miracles of Jesus. Each of the miracles of Jesus were "signs", pointing to specific characteristics of his nature and his mission. To demonstrate this, Jeremy and Barry travel through Cana, the site of Jesus' first miracle, they visit the traditional site of the feeding of the 5,000, and go inside a 1st-century tomb believed to be the location Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

They venture off the beaten path in order to visit the Cove of the Sower and go to Nablus, a city in the West Bank, to the site where Jesus had a conversation with a Samaritan woman while resting by a well.

They visit the house of Caiaphas the high priest, the location where Peter denied his master, and visit the dark underground prison where Jesus could have been held during the night before his crucifixion. They then explore the rarely seen ruins inside the excavation of Herod's palace, the likely place of Jesus' trial before Pilate.

Jeremy Dehut and Barry Britnell go inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and see first-hand the locations traditionally believed to be where Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the grave. They return to Galilee to talk about one of Jesus' post resurrection appearances and then finish their journey in Israel by climbing the Mount of Olives to discuss Jesus' ascension.
