Episode 1
A journalist arrives at Five Mile Creek and interviews the people about their lives and stories. He is impressed by their courage and spirit, but he also has a secret agenda: he wants to expose their secrets and scandals in his newspaper.
Episode 2
Sam and Jack are hired to transport a valuable cargo of gold, but they face danger from a gang of bush rangers who want to rob them. They have to run a gauntlet of traps and ambushes to reach their destination safely.
Episode 3
A group of American cowboys arrives at Five Mile Creek, claiming to be experts in cattle driving. They challenge the locals to a competition, but they cheat and use dirty tricks to win. The stagecoach crew decides to teach them a lesson.
Episode 4
Maggie adopts a baby possum that she finds in the bush, but she soon realizes that caring for a wild animal is not easy. The possum causes trouble for everyone at Five Mile Creek, especially Jack, who is allergic to it.
Episode 5
Jack and Sam have a falling out over a business deal that goes wrong. They decide to part ways and work for different stagecoach lines. However, they miss each other and realize that they are better off as partners and friends.

Five Mile Creek enters a horse race against its rival stagecoach line, hoping to win a gold cup and a lucrative contract. However, the race is rigged. Jack and Sam have to overcome the odds and prove their skills.

The Australian Express enters a prestigious coach race against other competitors from around the world. They hope to win the prize money and fame, but they also face many obstacles and enemies along the way.
Episode 10
Maggie receives news that her father has died in Ireland, leaving a large inheritance. She decides to leave Five Mile Creek. However, she faces difficulties in selling her share of the stagecoach line and saying goodbye to her friends.
Episode 11
A hot air balloonist lands at Five Mile Creek, offering rides to anyone who is brave enough. Jack, Sam, Kate, and Charles decide to try it out, but they end up drifting away. They have to find a way to land before they run out of air.
Episode 12
Jack and Kate finally admit their feelings for each other and decide to get married. However, their wedding plans are disrupted by various problems, such as a missing ring, a broken carriage, and an unexpected guest.
Episode 13
Jack and Kate decide to move to America with their baby daughter, hoping for a better future. They say farewell to their friends and board a ship for San Francisco, facing new challenges and dangers on their journey across the ocean.
