Their first guests are Liz's Sydney-based frenemy, Geri, and Geri's same-sex partner Sam, who Liz warns are very particular. While Ben and Simmo's efforts on first glance to the other household members, including Liz, would not be up to Geri and Sam's standards, that first viewing just minutes before they are scheduled to arrive, Ben concurrently learns from Rebecca that Mia has gone missing. The Mia issue not only affects Ben and Rebecca, the latter who is initially not as forthright as she could have been about the matter, but everyone else in the house to one degree or another, including Geri and Sam, and not always directly related to her missing status.

While he sees his housemates as all progressing nicely in their lives, Harry feels stalled. That feeling is only exacerbated by his recent encounters with Pete and learning of the significant event in his life, and Liz coming home on a break from her studies, she who Harry notices is more radiant a result of how well her life is going. As a result, Harry contemplates making a life changing decision when an opportunity seems to be presented to him. It ends up placing him between Liz and Geri, Liz's "friend" who, along with her partner Sam, was the household's first bed and breakfast guest, Liz and Geri always having had a competitive relationship. Meanwhile, Heather can see some signs in both Rebecca and Simmo that all is not right with their worlds in one aspect or another. While Heather has her suspicions about what is going on with them, she doesn't even suspect the real reason for their behavior. It may all come to a head in the games night Ainsley is determined to hold for the "extended" household - which includes both Rebecca and Simmo - to celebrate Liz's return.

From the single snowflake that is the pillow talk between Simmo and Ainsley stemming from Simmo not being able to lie, two separate snowballs form and pick up increasing speed as they roll downhill, the first being Ben proposing and the second Heather accepting the anticipated proposal. This situation is despite neither probably really wanting it, for Ben knowing that it is all emerging from him cheating on her, and for Heather knowing that she never really wanted to or wants to get married, even the first time to Colin. This situation is also happening when Heather is under great pressure in her fish out of water university experience, which is only made all the more difficult in that Timmy not only refuses to acknowledge her existence when they see each other on campus, but that she really could use his help in their one shared class. These goings on in the house also provide a backdrop for Harry's want to host a dinner with all the house members and Geri and Sam so that Sam can get to know him and as they can see the dynamic of the house themselves in the next logical step in Geri and Sam deciding if they will choose him as the father of their child.

Liz is eagerly awaiting her exam results. If she does as well as she believes she did, the world will be her oyster. While Stuart probably believes that their future is in Britain, Liz is less certain, she willing to entertain offers in Australia. If she does well, she expects an offer from her old firm, she relishing the thought of telling Roger in particular to put his offer proverbially where the sun doesn't shine, regardless of what it is. In addition to what it does for her future professional prospects, her results directly or indirectly affect two personal projects she has undertaken using her legal and negotiation skills. One is being the mediator in the breakup of Heather and Ben, Heather who doesn't want to kick Ben out of the house, yet wants nothing to do with him. And the second is the contract Geri and Sam have sent to Harry outlining the legalities of he being the father of their child. In the process, Liz will discover the true nature of her and Geri's relationship, which Liz has always believed was adversaries masquerading as friends.

Ainsley is in a place in her life that's she's always wanted - in a relationship with a man that truly loves her and that she loves in return, and who treats her with respect - this wanted place at least in theory. But since Simmo moved in, she is finding that along with the very good about him, there are those issues about him that are very bad that she didn't know about until their proverbial 24/7 living situation and that have only been magnified in the house now being Simmo's home in all respects. Those issues are made all the more clear when Simmo goes out of town on a multi-day work trip leaving her to remember what life was like before he moved in. Ainsley may get a chance to decide earlier than she expected which situation she prefers if being asked, albeit indirectly, to choose. Meanwhile, Harry's arrangement with Geri and Sam has fallen through, leaving him crestfallen especially in not knowing if he was a cause in what happened. In knowing what happened, Liz has to decide how much to bring Harry into the loop which is made all the more complicated with her mixed feelings about her new relationship with Geri.

Episode 6

Heather is feeling a sense of mediocrity in life not going her way. She has just gotten her exam results, she barely having passed despite her years of practical experience in the field. And she can still barely look at Ben although she can admit only to herself that she is not ready for him to move on with his romantic life despite telling him to his face that that's what she expects him to do. Much like Heather previously did for Harry in she believing someone needed to take control of his online dating life, namely her, Ainsley and Harry take control of Heather's online dating life in she feeling unworthy of the affections of anyone substantive. Meanwhile, Liz can only confide so much in Harry about her burgeoning feelings for Geri, whatever those feelings actually are or mean. With these goings-on, Heather, Ben and Liz concurrently go on three separate dates the same evening, each which has the high probability of being awkward for one reason or another. But as awkward as their dates may end up being, Ainsley might want to change places with even the worst of the three as she spends the evening with Simmo and his overbearing Irish mother Pam to talk about the wedding, Pam who continually says that whatever Ainsley wants is fine with her while her actions say something different.

Episode 7
45 mins
Partly in being gay, Harry is placed in the awkward and unstated unwanted position of organizing both Simmo's bucks party of a bonfire on his tinder dry empty property, a brush fire, if one were to occur, which who will probably be Simmo's drunken friends will be ill-equipped to handle, and Ainsley's hens party at a karaoke bar complete with male stripper on Heather's directive. Both parties are to be held on the same day. Another reason for Harry's recruitment is in Ben and Heather as best man and matron of honor wanting to minimize their interactions with each other, their relationship made even more awkward in the way Ben learns that Heather has just started dating Ed, her lecturer. Not only does Harry not want to organize either, but he doesn't want to attend either in not fitting in in either world, he still expected at least to make an appearance at both. Harry's day gets even worse in he additionally placed as the intermediary in a number of situations: between Ben and Heather in Ben still being in love with her and feeling like she has now left him behind with Ed in her life; and between Liz and Stuart and peripherally Geri, Liz who confides how far she and Geri have gone sexually and what it means, and Stuart who confides his feeling that Liz is keeping something from him. By the end of the evening, Harry ends up unburdening himself to the one person who probably understands better than anyone else what he's going through, his own disclosure which may have an unintended consequence.

Episode 8

Ainsley and Simmo's wedding day has arrived. Something that Harry had casually mentioned for the first time to Ainsley at the end of her hens party has been sitting on her mind, even more so this day as it affects her mindset going into the wedding. Ainsley's thoughts set off a series of other such thoughts, not only with her but with other housemates which in turn may set the tone for the wedding. Some of these thoughts come to light to the housemates in small groupings - the specific group depending on the issue in question - which may ease the situation or make it much worse again depending on the issue. As one delay after another to the wedding schedule result from these issues, the housemates least affected by what's happening have to try to calm the waters with the others and with the wedding guests, the latter without letting them, especially "I can fix any situation" Pammy, know that there are potential problems to the day going off without an outward hitch.
