Episode 1
46 mins
It's been three months since the group discovered that they truly wanted to remain roommates despite their issues *and* lost their house. Several dozen open houses later, they specifically looking for a move-in ready property, time is now becoming an issue as they want to make the move before Ainsley enters the next trimester. But in her continuing role as the caregiver of the group, Heather gets sidetracked at the latest open house by two issues, she feeling the need to intervene on the affected roommate's behalf. The first is that, in checking a hookup app for prospects in the neighborhood, she discovers that there is a gay man in closer proximity as a next potential sexual partner for Harry than they could have even imagined: Anton, the realtor. In Heather taking the lead in responding for Harry, Harry isn't certain if Anton is interested in a personal sense, or if he is solely trying to sell a house. The second is that Liz sees her ex-husband Stuart off in the distance with a young woman, he carrying a baby. Beyond wondering how Stuart could have gotten back on his feet so soon after their bankruptcy in attending the open house, she wonders about the young woman and baby in his life, which Heather is determined to find out for her. In the process, Liz can't help but review her past life goals as she tries to move forward. Meanwhile, Ainsley, in that time crunch, figures that they need to do something she has been dreading, namely attend the open house of a property listed by Lachlan. And Ben and Heather negotiate what their bedroom situation will be when they move into whatever their next house.

Soon after the five move into their new house, Ainsley begins settling into the notion of being a mother, the ultrasound leading to the thought of having a gender reveal party with a few people, including her housemates, Lachlan, and her father Des and stepmother Cheryl, who are coming from out of town for the festivities. This gathering will give Des and Lachlan an opportunity to meet for the first time, and for traditionally minded Des to air his feelings about what Lachlan and Ainsley are doing in having a baby out of wedlock. Complicating the situation is Melanie, who has been stalking Ainsley on social media and about who Des has no idea. Regardless, Ainsley is determined for her child and Melanie's child to have some sort of relationship as half siblings seeing as to her own growing up. Meanwhile, Ben has noticed that while they are sharing a bedroom, Heather seems reluctant to show any open signs of affection toward him while not behind the locked doors of their bedroom. Even if that is the case, there may be more reasons than Heather feeling uncomfortable for it happening. And Liz and Harry have made a pact to go on at least two dates a week in each wanting to move on with their lives, all the while being the other's "get out of jail free" card in checking in with the other on said dates. While most of these dates are through dating sites, Harry gets set up on a blind date from what he considers a surprising source, making him less than comfortable with the situation.

Ben is aware that his roommates are giving that, what to him is the familiar look of him being clueless, this time in relation to him, with Simmo's help, renovating the garage to become Ainsley's baby's nursery all in time for the baby's arrival in about five months time. The one other look Ben does recognize but fosters is Heather's lust in watching him work. But an incident makes those clueless looks look like they were indeed justified, which makes Ben need to figure out between all the bad options what he will do, and which further brings a conflict into the picture in the form of Liz against Ben's not often seen extremely wealthy brother, Joe Chigwell, a win at all cost type of person. Meanwhile, Harry has yet to introduce Xavier to his roommates. The eventual meeting does not go quite the way Liz would have anticipated, more for what Harry didn't do than for Xavier himself. And Ainsley has allowed Lachlan back into her life in he wanting to be part of the baby's life - especially as Melanie has not allowed him the same with her - much to Heather's chagrin.

Diwali is fast approaching, arguably the most important day annually in Manju's life. It used to be for Harry as well, that is until it started to conflict with his closeted homosexuality. This year may be different in what is usually a family centered occasion with Harry's Uncle Akshay Mama and his immediate family, Manju has decided to extend the guest list to include Harry's roommates, Marty and most importantly for Harry, Xavier, that is until Manju tells him that Xavier's invitation can only be as a friend and not a boyfriend. Harry has to decide what to do in the conflict between opening up to traditional Akshay Mama, the likelihood of he not only accepting Xavier as Harry's boyfriend but accepting Harry's homosexuality remote at best, against believing that for the first time in his life he is in love. An admission by Xavier may complicate matters even more. Meanwhile, Heather and Ben's relationship takes a turn, one more familiar in a bad way for both of them, as they deal with his shoulder injury recuperation.

Episode 5

A born caregiver, Heather faces a crisis as she appears headed toward disciplinary action at work for her less than caring behavior, which has only lately been exacerbated by her taking care of Ben and their recent relationship tensions made even tenser by an off the cuff comment by him to her. While someone key in her life believes an intervention is required, no one wants to take the lead in fearing her wrath. Someone unexpectedly has what he believes is what Heather needs at this specific time. That measure leads to an unexpected encounter, which may open her eyes to what she has believed has been her lifelong caring behavior. Meanwhile, Liz, who thought she would have far outstripped Harry in their pact to get their respective sexual/romantic lives on track, takes decisive action, fueled in part by alcohol, to get to where she thought she would be by this time, this in addition to the admission of attraction by both her and Joe to the other. And Harry contemplates testing the open nature of his and Xavier's relationship, one step further than he could have even imagined.

Episode 6

Ainsley has just entered her third trimester, and while she knows that her housemates will be there for her and Evie, the divide that has emerged between the have and have nots may make the harmony within the house more difficult to achieve. Harry and Liz are both employed and enjoying thriving social lives, so much so that they have not had time for each other, while Heather and Ben are both unemployed and have taken over many if not most of the household chores in lieu of their share of the bills. Complicating matters is that Lachlan has made the decision that he wants Evie to attend a private school, the same one that Mia attends. While public school educated Ainsley will have the final say, she wants the advice of those closest to her, namely her housemates. The fact that Mel has agreed to the private school for her daughter which may place Evie on unequal footing with her half sister if she attends public school is only the least of Ainsley's worries as the request for advice from her housemates opens up a can of worms, those worms which may not be able to be placed back in once they've escaped.

Episode 7
46 mins
In the aftermath of what has happened with Ainsley, Heather is by her side at the hospital, while Harry has been placed in charge of informing everyone of the news as he has done professionally time and time again. However, Harry can't help but treat this situation as something personal, especially as Stuart is a present force in Liz's life, Stuart who is a negative trigger for him in all that he has gone through with Liz in his regard, while Xavier has gone AWOL and is incommunicado leaving Harry thinking the worst about him. Not knowing what to do, Harry leaves a series of voice messages for Xavier, each increasingly angry, he lashing out about what he has truly been feeling regardless of the situation prompted by the Ainsley issue. The messages may be the prompt that not only will forever change his and Xavier's relationship, but his and Manju's relationship. The person who arguably has the most unusual reaction to the news about Ainsley is Simmo, who goes on an all available hands on deck mission before Ainsley arrives home. Only Ainsley's arrival home will show if what Simmo has done was a good idea.

With the factors aligning to allow her to be able to do so, Liz plans temporarily and somewhat immediately to leave the house for a year or two as she has been accepted into the Masters degree program in the Faculty of Law at Cambridge, she needing to rent her room in the process in needing the money. The first of the roommates that she tells in he also being her best friend, Harry is excited for her until he learns that Stuart will be accompanying her, Harry believing that Stuart is again manipulating her. The other roommate that shows some signs of hostility is Heather in Liz figuratively leaving them high and dry. That feeling may be exacerbated as what Liz in particular thought would be an easy process in someone obvious to take her room ends up not being so, the five in the process opening up the possibilities solely to their respective social media networks in not wanting a stranger, it which only attracts the least appropriate for one reason or another cast of characters. One week from her notification to her roommates to when she needs to leave gives Liz just enough time to think about what she is doing, from leaving at the worst time for Ben and Heather in they still being unemployed, to Ainsley who is still emotionally fragile, to the visceral issues Harry, her support for years and financial support when she first dealt with her bankruptcy, is having with her decision, which may forever threaten their friendship. But the issue that may give Liz the biggest pause: what if Harry is right that she is doing it solely for Stuart, and that in doing so she is walking into a disaster?
