COLIN AND TRACEY Office furniture salesman Colin is no stranger to the dating game - having been on over 100 first dates - but he's struggling to seal the deal. Born with a birth defect resulting in a missing leg, Colin is conscious that his limp is the 'elephant in the room' on dates. His date is bubbly blood worker (phlebotomist) Tracey who is looking for a friendly face and someone to have a laugh with. Since losing her husband to her best friend X years ago, Tracey confidence is low requiring her to bring her daughter along for moral support. Left to their own devices, Colin and Tracey hit it off with a shared sense of humour but will Colin reveal his disability and how will she react? RIKI THE HAT AND QUEENIE Rikki "the hat" is a Saville Row tailor but doesn't think he quite measures up. Riki's penchant for hats sets this date off in good stead and as the date progresses, they bond over their love of dogs and a shared heritage form fractured families. But when the conversation turns to Riki's self-esteem, his self-deprecation threatens to topple the date. Will she be won over by his charm and humour or has he blown it with his honesty??? WILL and DES Silver-fox teacher Will likes to reminisce about the olden days in the gay scene when things were more illicit and the bars were filled with handsome male "visions". With a chequered back catalogue of unsuitable partners, he has struggled to get himself back to a point where he is ready to find love again. His date is personal shopper / groomer Des is a "sucker for a pretty face" and is out to find someone to live life to the full with. Approaching fifty, he is keen to find a partner to celebrate with. Will has his guard up from the off and Des' wry sense of humour consistently hits a brick wall. They both wind each up other up until it's handbags at dawn one of the most catty/car crash dates the restaurant has seen. Can Des' drum up some warmth to melt Will's frosty exterior before this date ends in disaster? DANIELLE AND TOM Waitress Danielle may be only 18 but she knows what she wants - in life and in love. On his wishlist is a bubbly, pretty girl, which might just come true as children's nurse Marissa breezes in for their date. Sparks fly from the off. She loves his beard and he thinks she's pretty. Things get intense and a little bit spiritual in one of the sexiest dates. Throw in a bit of footsie, spontaneous hugs and a chocolate dessert and they're set for a steamy climax.
