Episode 1
Dylan is still not back at Hillside and won't listen to his friends. Matt confides in Dave and vice versa. Billy asks Arseman's advice about Dylan.
Episode 2
Jennifer's brother Jason tells her why she doesn't have any friends. Roxanne can't believe Chris booked their band. Pepper helps Dave build up his nerve with Stacy.

The pressure's on for Roxanne and Chris to deliver on their Friday night gig. Dylan blows up at Matt for trying to help. Arseman tries tough love on Dylan and ends up telling him he's a loser.
Episode 4
Chris and Roxanne fight over the band. Dylan actually apologizes to Matt, then thanks Arseman for kicking him in the teeth. Pepper confronts Billy for picking on Jason.
Episode 5
Dylan puts on a suit to interview for a job, but his job hunting is a bust.
Episode 6
Chris and Billy rib Dylan for wearing an apron as a busboy. Arseman is not sure how to handle Dylan's affection and Ashley's not sure she understands what she's feeling for Matt.
Episode 7
It comes out that the robbery at the café raises questions. Dylan is fired, then kicked out of the house. Pepper is trying out for the boys' soccer team.
Episode 8
Matt gives Dylan a place to sleep. The missing money has got everyone on edge. Stacy tells Dave that Chris stole the money. Dave gets her to lay the news on Dylan and Billy.
Episode 9
Dylan gets a meeting with his ex-boss. Chris gets lots of negative attention. Jennifer copies Jason's math assignment, with consequences.
Episode 10
When Billy baits Pepper, she gives it back. Jason is punished for Jennifer's wrongdoing and decides to pay her back. Arseman is jealous when Dylan spends times with Ashley.
Episode 11
Jason sets up Jennifer for a fall and she takes the bait. Jennifer spreads misery wherever she can. Jennifer stirs up more trouble, then revels in the chaos.
Episode 12
Matt and Dylan try to sort out what happened at the party. Ashley tries to clear the air with Arseman. Pepper plays a dirty trick on Billy. Stacy and Dave have a train wreck.
Episode 13
Arseman has painted herself into a corner. Dylan and Ashley finally admit how they feel about each other. One wrong kiss and Matt doesn't know where he stands.
Episode 14
Chris and Dylan face off: it's after school behind the Avalon. Momentum builds for the fight. Meanwhile, Billy blows it with new hottie Brittany.

Dylan and Ashley decide not to see each other. Pepper is tired of being the token girl on the soccer team. Jennifer is stuck with Brittany as a project partner. Russ offers to help Brittany with science.

Dylan is still hung up on Ashley. Jennifer makes fun of Russ' generosity. Brittany is manipulating Russ while Jennifer is manipulating Brittany. Brittany is impressed with all of Jennifer's things.
Episode 17
Dave tries and fails again with Stacy. Russ and Jennifer are going to face off in a school debate. Jennifer plays spoiler with Billy and Brittany.
Episode 18
Jennifer thinks the debate is rigged against her. Billy brags to Dylan about his upcoming date with Brittany, but Brittany backs out of the date.
Episode 19
Billy's Saturday night was a disaster. Dylan and Ashley are back together. Pepper is now a starter on the soccer team. Meanwhile, Russ is trying to hide something.
Episode 20
A surprise party is planned for Matt. Coach lets Billy try out for quarterback. Jennifer and Brittany squabble over Billy. Roxanne tells Liz her dad hit her.
Episode 21
Dylan is going to the Alternative School. Doctors can't find anything wrong with Russ. Jennifer is gossiping to Brittany behind Roxanne's back.
Episode 22
Billy's dad marries Loyal's mom and things aren't perfect between stepbrothers. Stacy steals Liz's poems. Things are better at home for Roxanne. Meanwhile, Jason exposes Jennifer's plot.
Episode 23
Billy tries to make up with Brittany. Meanwhile, Russ overhears that he is being tested for leukemia.

Jason presents Jennifer with a new concept: apologizing. Chris and Roxanne are getting back together. Brittany realizes that Billy is faking an injury. Russ confides in Chris.
Episode 25
Russ starts chemotherapy, and he asks Chris not to tell their friends about his cancer. Billy and Loyal try to sort out their new family. Roxanne intervenes with Russ. Billy catches Dylan with another girl at the mall.
Episode 26
Roxanne wants to go slower with Chris; at the costume dance they slow dance. Dylan arrives at the dance alone; later he tells Liz that him and Ashley got into a fight. Brittany goes to the dance with Billy, then takes off with Ryan.
