Episode 1
As she prepares a welcome home party for Jake, Courtney is worried about how their relationship will develop now that it is no longer a long distance once. At Chris' insistence, Dylan kicks Billy out of their band. Dave and Jake are both concerned that Matt has started drinking again.
Episode 2
Jake and Courtney aren't sure how things are with them. Arseman ambushes Dylan and Chris by quitting the band. Jake confronts Matt's drinking head on.
Episode 3
Brooke pictures herself as the new lead singer in the band. Brooke promotes herself with Stacy and Dylan. Matt's friends organize an intervention regarding his drinking.
Episode 4
Dylan is thinking about dropping out of school. Matt is sent to alcohol rehab. Jake and Courtney get back together. Brooke takes a shot at Arseman's Animal Rights campaign.
Episode 5
Billy's and Courtney's dad is getting remarried. Chris has a new lead singer for the band: Roxanne. Brooke makes fun of Stacy's cheerleading. Chris is trying to take over the band.
Episode 6
Dave hears from Matt at the treatment center. Chris tries to get Ashley back. Brooke has weaseled her way onto the cheerleading team. Dylan vetoes Roxanne as a lead singer.
Episode 7
Brooke admits to Stacy she misread Dylan. Roxanne tells Stacy why Brooke has avoided the talent show: no talent. Dylan tells Roxanne she's not right for lead singer.
Episode 8
Jake can't tell Courtney what he really feels. The Avalon offers Dylan another booking but there's no band. Stacy and Brooke compete for head cheerleader.
Episode 9
The competition for head cheerleader heats up. Arseman agrees to be in Courtney's play. Billy shakes little John down for his lunch money. Chris brags to Dylan about his new band.
Episode 10
Dylan books a solo concert at The Avalon, but he's skipping school. Chris blames Roxanne for breaking up the band. Courtney goes to the concert with Matt and kisses him in front of Ashley.
Episode 11
Brooke attacks Courtney for slandering her in her play. Matt still cares about Ashley, but pretends not to. Ashley levels with Courtney. Dylan drops out of school.
Episode 12
Chris and Roxanne try to build their band. Stacy tells Roxanne that Brooke is chasing after Chris. Arseman tells Dylan what she thinks of his dropping out of school.
Episode 13
Dave is astounded girls are actually talking to him after his success with the play. Matt and Ashley are going to the dance, alone. Ashley and Matt agree to give it another try.
