They investigate and learn she was abducted nut not by the director. The father demands that unless they find her he will the director and/ or his pregnant wife. Maggie offers to take their place and the father accepts. The team tries to find the daughter before the deadline.

But a further investigation that someone on the web is looking for people willing to do it. They eventually find this person and learn she is a Russian spy Who is planning another attack. They go to the State Department who tells them to tread softly cause they're in the midst of negotiating the release of an American being held by the Russians. But when the boy dies Isobel becomes more determined to get her. Maggie's is still reeling from her friend's death and trying to care for her daughter.

When a man is killed in an industrial park the team investigates. They learn the man worked for the Army and had access to ordinances like explosives. They learn he had explosives in his possession. Through his chats they learn who the buyer is. They arrest him. He says he killed him cause he couldn't get the amount he wants. He also tells them he has a buyer. He schedules the meeting and Tiff and Scola meet the buyer. When the buyer refuses to say anything important. They check him out and discover that he may have ties to the group led by the man who killed Hobbs. Tiff decides she wants to find him.

They eventually discover that the ones behind it are the Somali rebels who killed Hobbs and Tiff is obsessed with getting them. They discover whom and what they are targeting.
