Episode 1
On Thin Ice

The 2nd Mass invades a camp of prisoners to release teenagers, including Diego. They are reinforced by a Volm warrior named Cochise and possessing powerful weapons to confront the Mechs and the Skitters, They have also an alien machine to release harness from the prisoners. Tom Mason was elected president of the New United States in Charleston, and administrates the town with the support of Manchester, Marina Peralta, General Bressler, Captain Weaver, General Porter and their ally Conchise and they suspect there is an infiltrated mole. Hall has paralyzed legs and is having nightmares with Karen. Manchester assigns Anthony to look for the spy and gives him a list with 50 possible suspects and wants Anthony to narrow it down. The Red Eye advises Tom and Weaver that the Volm's spaceships are coming to fight the Espheni and the previous Overlord was replaced by Karen. Anne is ready to deliver her baby, but something tragic happens with Manchester and a secret is disclosed.

Collateral Damage

Ben and Deni find a nuclear power plant that is providing fuel to the Espheni and their Mechs and Beamers that are running out of fuel. Tom asks Peralta to have a meeting with the genius Professor Roger Kadar, who lives in the underground of Charleston and is agoraphobic, to learn whether is possible to blow-up the plant without releasing radiation. They prepare a plan to explode the facility but the group is ambushed since the mole have told the plan to the Espheni. However the real plan is a small group lead by Tom reaching the unprotected part of the plant to destroy the facility. Meanwhile, Anne is worried with the advanced development of her baby Alexis but she does not disclose her findings to Tom.

Badlands

At All Costs

In Charleston, there is a battle between the 2nd Mass, Mechs and Skitters. When Beamers arrive, Tom brings Lt. Fisher to see the use of Volm weapons and she is impressed with the human's victory. She contacts President Hathaway using a short-wave radio and introduces Tom. The leaders schedule a meeting, but Tom needs to borrow Pope's airplane to reach the place. Anne gives a kit of medicine prepared by Lourdes to Tom to take with him. Pope demands to go with Tom, Cochise and the pilot Gen. Bressler to the meeting. However their reception is not as expected. Weaver stays with Marina administrating Charleston. Anne takes a sample of her daughter and joins with the samples of the children that have had their harnesses removed and asks Professor Roger Kadar to analyze the DNA. When she receives the results, she learns that all the children but one are humans. Hal believes he is hallucinating but learns that Karen introduced an implant in his brain and the other entity takes control over him. Meanwhile, an Espheni aircraft attacks the location of the meeting and the participants need to flee.

Search and Recover

Anne and Alexis are missing and Professor Kadar discloses that Alexis is an alien to Weaver, Peralta and a few others. Weaver organizes a search group to look for them. Meanwhile Tom and Pope survive the plane crash but Bressler does not make it. The friction between Tom and Pope Increase and Tom twists his ankle and Pope is forced to leave him behind. Marina shows Professor Kadar the photos of what the Volm are building, surprising him.

Be Silent and Come Out

However, Maggie do not let them leave the town shooting at their truck and Hal points a gun to his father and goes to a derelict building. Hal wants to know what the Volm are building. Weaver tries to save them both but Tector is ready to put Hal down.

Tom and his sons leave Charleston and ride on the road looking for Anne and Alexia. Out of the blue, they are robbed by a masked gang that steels their horses, supplies and weapons. However the Mason family decide to look for the group and retrieve their belongings. They find the robbers in their farm and there are betrayal and confrontation. Meanwhile Conchise brings the wounded President Hathaway to Charleston and he sees the Volm weapon with Marina and Weaver.

Strange Brew

Tom wakes-up with his wife Rebecca, who asks him who Anne is since he said her name many times. Then he has breakfast with his sons and goes to the University of Boston to give class. He stumble upon a homeless Weaver that asks him to open his eyes, meets Dean Anthony and Philosophy Professor Pope and Professor Marina and gives class where one of the students is Maggie. Along the day he is questioned in many situations whether he wants to go to Boston, Chicago, New York or Jacksonville? But soon he finds where he really is. Meanwhile Anthony seeks out leads for find the mole. Hal, Ben and Matt returns to Charleston and Tom visits his destroyed house.
Episode 9
Journey to Xibalba

Weaver discusses with Marina the need to destroy the Espheni grid using the Volm's weapon. Out of the blue, Tom arrives in a sailing boat and meets his sons and friends and tells that Anne and Alexia are gone. Tom tells to Weaver and Porter that the tower in Boston needs to be destroyed to destroy the grid, but they do not believe him, afraid that he might have an implant. He meets Pope and asks him to kill him if he does something bad and out of the blue, there is an explosion in the bunker where the Volm's weapon is, killing the Volm and leaving Conchise wounded. Lourdes hides an alien bomb to destroy the compound but she is not allowed to leave the facility. When the bomb blows-up, a great number of the 2nd Mass is trapped in the underground below ruins, beams and stones and Tom finds the mole.
Episode 10
Brazil

Weaver, Anthony, Pope and Lyle are in the cabin of a train with Lourdes cuffed in a bar heading to Chicago while Tom, Conchise and Dr.Kadar are inspecting the controls of the Volm's weapon. But is plan to trick the Espheni since the weapon is indeed in a boat heading to Boston with the 2nd Mass that destroy the Espheni fortress and grid. Soon the Volm's spaceship arrives and there is a party to celebrate the victory. The Volm commander schedules a meeting with Tom and Weaver and they have a surprise with his attitude.
