Dawna Lee Heising of "Eye on Entertainment" (EOE) were in attendance as the Annual Thalians Ball honored legendary film, stage, and TV star Mickey Rooney and the USO Shows supporting America's Armed Forces around the world. Thalians founders, actresses Debbie Reynolds and Ruta Lee, hosted the evening at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Rooney received the Mr. Wonderful Award and a gold statuette, The Goofy, designed by Walt Disney himself for the Thalians in the 1950's.
