Stacey Hayashi's award-winning feature film Go for Broke (2018) is about the legendary 442nd RCT during World War II. 75 years ago on February 1st, 1943, FDR signed the order that formally created the 442nd RCT, who went on to become the most highly decorated unit in US military history for its size and time in combat -- an ironic story, since it was comprised of Japanese Americans, whose loyalty was questioned by the government. Eye on Entertainment interviewed Stacey at the 2019 Hollywood Silver Screen Festival.

"Visas and Virtue" is a 1997 narrative short film directed by Chris, which stars Chris, Susan Fukuda, Diana Georger and Lawrence Craig. It was inspired by the story of Holocaust rescuer Chiune "Sempo" Sugihara, who is known as "The Japanese Schindler".
