It depicts the way the ballistic submarines operate on receipt of the signal to fire and the actions taken by the Captain and the crew to prepare to fire, fire and then hide to become hunters when the birds (missiles) are away. The program shows how the submarine services of these nations have played a major role in preventing WWIII and Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD).
