For years, they were considered the nemeses of Israel and the absolute demons for anyone who lived here. Many of them died as enemies, others finally recognized Israel and began to negotiate with it, even signing agreements with it after giving up on warfare. But how much do we really know about who they were, and how to understand their real intentions in real time, in the days when they openly declared their desire to erase the "Zionist entity"?
