A climbing accident and a rare condition bring two young couples into the ER on Valentine's Day. Dr. Campbell must deal with a 10-inch blade sticking out of a patient's chest, while Dr. Theoret is faced with a heartbreaking case.
Episode 2
Dr. McKnight tries his best to diagnose a patient who is deaf and blind. Deb, the ER's social worker, plays detective to track down the identity of a "John Doe".
Episode 3
The full moon takes its toll on the ER as it is threatened to be overwhelmed by traumas. Dr. Shirzad treats a young nurse who collapses on duty and Dr. Campbell is faced with a doctor's most difficult decision.

Paramedics Rick and Kelly hit the streets of Vancouver. Staff must deal with violence and drug abuse in the ER, while Dr. Rose confronts the horror of a multi-vehicle accident.
