Sam annuls then woos Ryan. Adam is honest with Kirby about all his offenses. Caleb gets a punch in the nose. Crazed Evan Tate takes measures to derail the nuptials.

Wedding bells jangle out of tune. Mere hours before the ceremony, Alexis and Jeff call in Blake's loan and evict him from the manor; Fallon sprains her ankle; Anders produces a witness to Adam's crimes in Montana; Dominique shops around her inheritance of mineral rights; and Kirby is stabbed by a trespassing Evan. Unaware of the danger, Liam and Fallon flee to her former high school auditorium where a newly ordained Sam presides over their vows (the groom's poetic, the bride's sung). Evan catches up, threatening Fallon at knife point until Blake tackles him. Both men topple into the orchestra pit, their fates in question.

Weeks after the wedding, Blake leaves the hospital in need of physical therapy. Kirby also survives. Dr. Adam has supervised their care and Fallon insists both recover at the manor (to Alexis's chagrin). Dominique goes public with her diamond mine beneath Carrington grounds. Anders records Adam admitting he iced the woman who raised (and kidnapped) him - but relents using it to spare Kirby. Cristal remains close to Father Caleb. Alexis suggests a friendly end to her marriage with Jeff, then joins Dom's excavation. He disapproves and draws out the divorce. Fallon tries to nurse everyone to avoid hysterics, which Liam helps her overcome.

Blake leaves the manor for La Mirage, putting on an accepting face when Cristal tells him she loves Father Caleb -- but an intimidating one in the priest's confessional booth. Sam overwhelms Ryan with extravagant presents (from pricey cheeses to a pop singer's personal concert). Kirby and Adam help Culhane expose an illegal gambling ring in the soccer league led by Dawkins, the deputy commissioner. Fallon takes inspiration from classic b&w sitcoms to smooth over her family's disputes.

Sam volunteers to use himself as bait for lustful Dawkins so Culhane can capture evidence of the betting corruption. Blake bribes the church to make Father Caleb feel indispensable and break-up with Cristal. Fallon cuts an investors presentation short after realizing she should be at the Colby wake. Michael allows Dawkins to resign after the sale of the Atlantix to black owners. Blake agrees to work for Fallon Unlimited.

Fallon regrets hiring Blake when he cuts Fallon Unlimited's costs by firing most of the staff on his first day. Cristal makes him see a line was crossed and he apologizes to his boss/daughter. Culhane adjusts to his new wealth by floating Ryan a reasonable loan then buying an Aston Martin for himself. Anders catches Cristal in a sudden faint, which points to serious medical issues that she tries to brush off.

It's girlfriend vs mother when Kirby and Alexis each desire to throw Adam competing parties for his birthday. Culhane is smitten by Jeff's flame, Mia, an event planner, and plays along when she mistakes him for a bartender. Fallon's idea to occupy Liam with a "surprise" visit from his friend, Nash, goes wrong when the so-called pal comes on to her. Blake and Dominique con Alexis with fabricated diamonds to make the empty mines look prosperous. Adam chooses his mother's networking soiree but Kirby wins the night by charming the guests and making Alexis look like a fool. Fallon leads Nash to expose his true colors, so Liam shows him the door. Burned Alexis contacts Kirby's ex in Australia.

Alexis signs the mansion back to Blake after he and Dominique scam her about the foundation shifting and a pending lawsuit. Fallon spars with Colin McNaughton, a college adversary she used to spark with, who has blocked Fallon Unlimited's construction in Scotland. Jeff and Culhane find themselves in an awkward triangle as both pursue Mia. Fletcher Myers re-enters Sam's life and bed. Adam diagnoses Cristal's brain tumor as level four. Liam pairs with Fallon on a stakeout to snap compromising photos of Colin - but she ultimately takes the high road over using bribery. Alexis realizes she's been conned and rages into the abandoned mine where she and Dom wrangle, causing a cave-in.

Dominique and Alexis confess sins to each other while trapped underground (Dom is still wed to her second husband; Alexis gave birth to a secret illegitimate daughter when married to Blake). Cristal swears Adam to doctor/patient privacy regarding her cancer as she reunites with Blake. Liam's suspicion that SEC officer Corinne is tied to his family's stock scandal jeopardizes Fallon's fast-track to bring her company public. Kirby is shocked when Oliver, her photographer/coke-head ex, checks into La Mirage. Culhane and Jeff's competition makes Mia reject them both - but they do save Dom and Alexis. Corinne discloses that Liam's father was murdered by a network of insider traders that still remain a danger.

Jeff's cyber-smarts are pressed into service by Fallon to stop a hacker pirating intel from her company's server. Cristal delays telling Blake about her tumor and embraces the high life with him. Sam loses Ryan, Fletcher, and his pending expansion deal when all show up at the same lounge of a male strip club. He recovers quickly, going into business with Culhane. Fallon sees how unfair she has been to Jeff in the past and asks for his forgiveness. The hacker turns out to be tracking Liam's investigation, not Fallon Unlimited.

Adam stalls medical care to an opposing doctor's relative until the hospital okays trials of a new drug for Cristal. Anders blackmails Alexis to drop Oliver, which she does by destroying all his photo proofs. Culhane and Sam's hassle to get in sync results in them hiring corrupt contractors for La Mirage's extension. Fallon rejects Blake's advice to lie to her investors and instead publicizes a link with a social media star to advance the company's IPO. Dominique learns her fashion line will not be featured in a prestigious exhibit because of her age. Coke-addicted Kirby chooses Oliver over Adam and gets a dose of fatherly hard love from Anders who evicts her from the manor.

Blake cannot focus on his new airline (Primetime Private Air) when he learns of Cristal's illness. Liam is fixed on exposing the insider trading ring connected to his late father and Georgia's Senator North. Fallon helps him infiltrate the senator's fundraiser (posing as cater waiters) but they are stopped by North's staff before they can gather any incriminating evidence. Dominique wins points with Jeff by turning down a lucrative offer for her fashion label to design a more affordable line. Culhane and Sam feel trapped by their association with racketeer, Leo Abbott. Dom and Alexis threaten each other with their shared confidences. Cristal collapses. Liam is abducted by informants he arranged to meet in an alley.

A funeral service frames a series of flashbacks that reveal which family member is being laid to rest: Katy Lofflan, the senator's chief-of-staff (and head of the insider trading ring) holds Fallon and Liam for ransom; Anders rescues them but is injured; Culhane gets beaten up by Abbott's goons; Cristal requires immediate surgery; Blake is forced to land a jet when the pilot is knocked unconscious; Oliver bails when Kirby overdoses in a seedy apartment; Jeff envisions a ColbyCo venture into outer space. It is finally revealed that Anders was the one who did not make it; killed when he lost control of his car. Following his memorial, Adam comforts a stunned Blake, while Fallon and Sam are tipped off by Alexis where to find Kirby (who is near death herself).

Mourning for Anders delays acceptance. Kirby checks out of the hospital in denial, getting fall-down drunk at the Designer Institute Ball when she tries to resume her modeling career. Blake is grateful for Cristal's recovery but dreads running Primetime Private Air on the up-and-up. Adam appropriates Alzheimer's research at the hospital to create his own dynasty. Dominique and Jeff advise each other on their business endeavors (hers in publicity; his in asking help of tech rival Nolan). Culhane and Sam become more entangled in Abbott's criminal acts. Fallon breaks down; overwhelmed by a sense of loss for Anders. Kirby visits her father's grave and has a heartfelt talk with his spirit. She commits to entering rehab and put her life in order.

Family bonds pull apart and draw together. Alexis and Fallon both eye an apartment in the exclusive Solitaire, then undermine each other to buy it. Sam and Culhane stage an accident that slows down Abbott's takeover of La Mirage. The crime boss deduces their ruse from his hospital bed and suggests they not make plans beyond a "long car ride". Twisted Dr. Adam allows a coding Abbott to die, ending all mob ties. Blake is counseled by Anders's ghost to blackmail Senator North over land rights. Dominique connects with Cristal, designing her a gown only the two of them see when they blow off a charity gala for a night of TV and popcorn. Fallon gives up the penthouse when she realizes her mother only wants it to live close by. Blake announces he's running for Georgia's open senate seat.

Wide praise for Liam's published article does not come from the preoccupied Carringtons. Fallon scrambles to suppress competing bids to showcase Dominique's fashion line. Cristal hunts down hundreds of signatures required to secure Blake's nomination. Culhane heeds Anders's otherworldly concern over his recent lack of empathy. Alexis is followed around Atlanta by a British twenty-something who turns out to be Amanda, the daughter she gave up. Chaos rules at Blake's press conference: Fallon and Adam do not embrace their new sister; Dom sews ripped seams; a stood-up Liam wins a journalism award and regards from Fallon's sexy assistant, Eva.

Amanda shows herself to be an Oxford-educated attorney with no patience for manipulation. Blake suspects he might be her biological father and confronts a defensive Alexis to prove him wrong. Fallon is matched, play for play, by Colin McNaughton in an attempted takeover of Fallon Unlimited. Jeff becomes unraveled during a podcast interview about ColbyCo's future. Kirby's sobriety has her making too many amends to cold Adam and not enough to supportive Sam. Culhane brainstorms the use of offshore oil rigs to launch Jeff's space race. Liam warms to Eva as Fallon does to Colin after narrowly defeating his buyout. DNA confirms that Amanda is a full Carrington.

Sibling relations are thrust into the forefront. Fallon allies with Adam to exploit rumored dirt on Amanda that will send her packing back to London. Cristal's brother, Beto, resurfaces from South America to gain help incarcerating their crime lord father (and knock bedposts with Sam). Blake seeks Dominique's sway with black voters, so she brokers deals for Jeff and Culhane to back his campaign. Flash drives from Anders lead Kirby to a hand-written dossier on Carrington misdeeds, while frustration (and temptation) leave Fallon and Liam sleeping apart. Amanda is forthright about a lesbian affair with a UK judge that damaged her career, inspiring Fallon to call a sisterly truce. Beto swears revenge when Cristal is left in charge of the Flores cartel.

Brady Lloyd (Dominque's ex) shows up at her design studio. He claims he ran out years ago to protect her from his creditors and wins her back. Sam heads off a reporter's scoop on Abbott's demise, only to see the article spun into a hit piece on La Mirage. Adam tampers with a contract Amanda is drafting for Primetime Private Air. She gets revenge by joining his hospital's legal team. Fallon numbs her troubles with pot edibles creating Capra-like hallucinations of an alternative reality where she is not ambitious. Guided by Anders, she realizes that a simpler life may not have been so wonderful. Jeff learns Dom and Brady were never divorced; Alexis goads Blake into bonding with Amanda; Liam states that he has to change, not Fallon. He motorcycles off, leaving her with an aching heart.

Fallon impulsively jets to Los Angeles for a session with a New Age marriage mediator (bringing Sam to stand in for her absent husband and Kirby for diversion) and leaves with the enlightenment that only distance can mend what is broken. Jeff's neural disorder resurfaces as he sells off major assets to fund ColbyCo flights to Mars. Culhane steers Blake into making campaign promises that will aid communities Carrington Atlanta has wronged in the past. Trials for Adam's new drug are stalled when Amanda finds liability issues for the hospital. He pushes Cristal into wielding Carrington Foundation clout, which puts the release back on track. Eva's lie about a divorce attorney's message causes a distraught Fallon to hook up with Colin.

Colin advises Fallon keep their fling a secret, which proves difficult as she and Liam attend a couples retreat (complete with wall-climbing and truth tents). Adam breaks into a sweat when Dr. Larson, biochemist of the formula he plagiarized, comes back to the hospital for the research. Georgia's Lt. Governor offers land for PPA's airfield if Blake pulls out of the senate race. Alexis has partnered with Brady to take Dominique's profits. Jeff stays off his medication. Kirby shares her father's diary with Culhane. Cristal plants rumors of a Presidential cabinet post to keep Blake in the election. Eva makes sure Liam learns of Fallon's tryst. The broken Ridleys part as she sings "Here comes the bride" to a collage of pasted Liam heads.

Cliffhangers abound. Fallon gets wise to Eva when Amanda helps her uncover the assistant's infatuation with Liam (a crazed brawl between employer and employee follows). Cristal and Blake curb Beto's actions to tank the senate race by moving the Flores empire to Atlanta. Dr. Larson extorts Adam until he is shoved off a hi-rise terrace. Jeff suffers a psychotic break, then side-lines Dominique and Culhane and pursues Brady. Alexis is framed and jailed for Larson's murder in a crimson designer gown. Sam channels Anders, pulling off an impressive party for Blake's campaign at the new Sahara Club. Jeff, Beto, and Eva each show up, armed with handguns. As confetti falls, Fallon is shot and slumps into Liam's arms.
