Episode 1

When their parents spend the weekend in a hotel, Drake and Josh are left in charge of Megan with 200 dollars to spend on food or emergencies. Drake immediately spends the cash on useless items like a Mexican robot and packages of bubblegum. With no money left for food, Drake and Josh create a bed-and-breakfast in their home. At first, there's only a single couple staying there, but then when over fifty college kids with no place to stay show up, the house turns into a chaos zone. The situation worsens when the scenario is aired on television and their parents see it, inspiring them to return home early, leaving Drake and Josh to clean up the enormous mess in only two hours.

Drake joins Josh in entering a salsa recipe contest in hopes to win a plasma TV. When Megan learns of it and won't be allowed to join them, she enters alone and orders rare Peruvian puff peppers as a secret ingredient in part of a devious plan to supersede their winning recipe.

Josh's e-mail pal, Yooka from Yudonia, comes to visit. She's unexpectedly beautiful and Drake takes a liking to her. Overhearing a call to her parents, Josh arranges a Yudonian friendship ceremony to make her feel more at home. Through a misunderstanding of the ceremony, Drake ends up with Yooka as his wife. He's entirely against it, especially when she becomes a demanding spouse who wants many children, until he learns that her father is extremely wealthy, but by that time, Josh already has a divorce in the works.

Josh thinks he'll win this year's science fair (again with his electromagnet) until rival Mindy Crenshaw appears, newly released from the "whacky shack." She beats him again, with her own version of an electromagnet, and soon thereafter, in a surprising twist, becomes his girlfriend. Josh fall into a dither over how to tell Drake.

Walter says he can't make it to Josh's career day at school due to a business meeting, but Drake shortly thereafter overhears Walter on the phone making secret rendezvous plans with a woman. He shares his suspicion of Walter having an affair with Josh. They decide to remind Walter about how awesome Audrey is by making him breakfast. When that fails, they go after "the other woman."

Bristling at being anchored down by having a girlfriend, Drake breaks up with Tori. The break-up is smooth, but he soon regrets it when he sees her dating and kissing other guys. Now he thinks he wants her back. Josh, meanwhile, loves his new mustache and the new level of respect it seems to bring. No one else loves it, though, and Mindy refuses to kiss him until he shaves it off.

When Helen's (Josh's boss's) laser eye surgery leaves her temporary blind, she assigns Josh as her seeing eye dog. Drake, seeing Helen's ultra-cool apartment, complete with a hot tub, throws a private party without permission. When Helen's sight returns in the middle of the party, her reaction shocks both Drake and Josh.

Drake's new potato launcher causes Josh to drop his workout weights and injure his foot. Fearing hospitals, he tries to keep the injury a secret, but it's no good. Once at the hospital with pretty student nurses around, Drake dresses as a doctor to score dates. He's soon mistaken for Elliot Nussbaum, youngest surgeon to ever graduate from Harvard Medical School, and led into surgery. As Drake maintains his pretense to avoid arrest and imprisonment, Josh limps to his aid. Back home, Megan retaliates for the boys making the house too cool.

To everyone's surprise, Drake and Josh learn that they once crossed paths at a baseball game eight years ago in an incident over the purchase of a foam finger. Still embittered by their differing memories of the event (resulting in a two-boy brawl at the time) that Drake moves out of the bedroom. It takes a one-eyed man to make the boys see what really happened.

His awful teaching and the piles of homework and hard tests he dishes out cause Megan's friends and classmates to turn on her, leaving her out of play-dates and birthday parties. Desperate for revenge, Megan uses her cleverness to publicly embarrass Josh and get him instantly fired during a science lesson.

For being late to class yet again, Mrs. Hayfer gives Drake a choice rather than a detention: another stint in the tumultuous remedial English class or being a big brother for a deserving kid (which Drake thinks means "baby pig"). "Deserving kid" Sammy, however, finds Josh far more interesting and nurturing. To stay out of the abominable remedial English class, Drake asks a favor of Josh: be mean to Sammy to force him to turn back to Drake.

Drake and Josh are desperate to ride the awesome new roller-coaster, the Demonator, at their favorite amusement park, Mystic Mountain. However, their parents, who are going out for the night, force the boys to stay home and watch over their great-grandfather, who's recovering from surgery. After their parents leave, Drake issues the help of their geeky friends, Craig and Eric, to watch over the grandfather, while Drake, Josh, and Megan (who they agree to take after she threatens to tattle on them) jet off to ride the Demonator. However, nothing goes according to plan; due to Josh's emergency bathroom break and wrestling the park's mascot, they get sent to the back of the line more than once. Meanwhile, back at the house, the grandfather, who believes he is fighting in World War 2 due to pain medication, tries to hold Craig and Eric hostage.

In retribution for her many horrible pranks and disregard for others' personal property, Drake and Josh make Megan believe her new telescope detects a UFO, with software picking up their alien language. As a topper, the boys appear as aliens themselves to scare Megan royally, but an unworldly visitor interrupts their fun.

Awakened after 11:00PM from Drake's and Josh's loud row for a third consecutive night, Megan presents the boys with tickets as guests on the Dr. Phyllis Show. The topic: Bickering Brothers. During the broadcast, the brothers' grievances come out, as well as Megan's shenanigans, but the show quickly degenerates into a three-person brawl when the hostess discovers that Drake once dated and dumped her daughter to win back his former girlfriend.
