Ken Hakuta, aka Dr. Fad, hosted this show for budding scientists and inventors. Dr. Fad, inventor of a number of popular toys and gadgets, would present the kids with a challenge, some task that had to be overcome. the kids would then have to come up with a solution that was original, effective and fun. This program helped to encourage kids to look for new solutions to old problems, and to never lose their creative spirit.
