The Preston family goes on a cruise ship vacation. Their nosy neighbor. Candy, somehow sneaks on the boat. Ethel hooks up with George Lazenby(James Bond) who is himself a ghost. Richard hooks up with Dawn Wells( Maryann from Gillian's Island) Duane tries to hook up with Kathy Ireland (Model) by pretending to be a photographer. Lissy meets a young man ,Lee Carrari from the Movie "Fame" And Rip Taylor, Ethel's guardian angel, tries to keep it all together. Frivolity, misunderstanding, disappointment, and laughter ensue.
