Tom Latimer is newly divorced and just settling into his new bachelor flat, when his father announces his intention to separate from his mother and asks to move in with him for a while.
Episode 2
Tom's father proves a difficult flatmate, and Tom's efforts to re-unite his parents backfires when his mother wakes up beside a stranger.
Episode 3
Toby comes home late from the opera, bringing his secretary with him to Tom's flat, and Tom jumps to the wrong conclusion.

When Tom's car won't start, he borrows his father's Rolls-Royce for a house call in a working-class neighborhood.

Madeleine is away on holiday and Toby struggles to find a suitable replacement.
