Episode 1
Dog and Pug go on an adventure and meet a pirate captain on a desert island, who is hunting the Snark. Our friends realise that they should protect the Snark and develop a game of hide and seek.
Episode 2
Dog and Pug visit a spooky castle, where they meet a princess who has no friends. Fortunately, they find a baby dragon, so they set up an introduction.
Episode 3
In a comic book world, Dog and Pug meet two hapless super heroes trying to outdo each other to save the city from their new visitors.
Episode 4
Dog and Pug meet a great inventor in his space lab. The inventor shows them all of his robots, but he fails to realise that he has upset his very first creation, who has feelings.
Episode 5
The bookshop is very cold, so Dog and Pug go to the Antarctic to find out how its animals keep warm. There, they meet a penguin who is also very cold.
Episode 6
While trying to solve a puzzle, Dog and Pug end up looking for a Minotaur in an ancient maze. After a number of false turns, they reach the centre and find the friendly Minotaur.
Episode 7
Dog and Pug try to solve a mystery, and in a foggy day in London they meet Sherlock Holmes and Watson. But they all become separated in the heavy fog, and Pug has to come up with an ingenious plan.
Episode 8
Dog and Pug enter the world of the theatre and help act out a Shakespearean play. Pugs gets a bit carried away as the director, but learns that putting on a show is more fun than showing off.
Episode 9
Dog and Pug arrive on a desert island and find a pirate who has lost his treasure. They help the pirate find what he is looking for by retracing his steps.
Episode 10
The lights in the shop go out, so Dog and Pug share an adventure as they see all the nocturnal activities around them. Eventually, they see the workmen fixing the fault that switched the lights out.
Episode 11
Dog and Pug join Granny Pug in search of the Lesser-Spotted Kraken. Although they have a wonderful submarine, the Kraken is very clever and can camouflage itself. Our friends use a sandwich to draw the animal out and get some great photos.
Episode 12
Pug is trying to learn how to draw, so our heroes go on an adventure with a magic pencil. But while he is showing them what he can do, he accidentally rubs them out. Pug helps the pencil get them back to their original design.
Episode 13
Dog and Pug meet a biscuit factory owner, who shows them around his factory. One of his workers turns out to be a cat who makes fishy dog biscuits.
Episode 14
Pug wants to perfect his magic tricks, so Dog opens up an adventure to meet the great Hugh Deanie. But Pug's magic allows all the rabbits to escape.
Episode 15
Dog and Pug are trying to solve one of the world's great mysteries, and they meet Granny Pug trying to track down the Yeti.
Episode 16
Pug wants to learn how to pain, so our heroes visit Picasso's studio in Paris. He persuades Picasso to become more abstract using a full colour palette. The rest is history.
Episode 17
Dog and Pug go on an adventure where they shrink to the size of little insects. They meet Granny Pug, who is searching for a very rare butterfly.
Episode 18
Dog and Pug have a power cut in the bookshop. They want to know what it was like before electricity, so they travel to an old lighthouse.
Episode 19
Dog and Pug visit a forest where the witches are planning a great 'spelling' contest. Their friend Witch Willow needs their help.
Episode 20
Dog and Pug are on a building site and they meet three diggers - Big Digger, Bigger Digger and Tiny. The two big diggers look down on Tiny, but she is the one who wants to do all the work.
Episode 21
Pug is making a hat, and our two friends go on an adventure on a pirate ship. They find out that the captain is chosen by whoever wears the captain's hat.
Episode 22
Pug is trying to improve his portrait painting, so our friends travel to a palace with a king who can only think about his own portraits.
Episode 23
Dog and Pug visit a desert island where Colin lives on his own. He is very happy by himself, but when our friends find him, they have a wonderful meal and play a great game of cricket.
Episode 24
Pug wants to go back in time, so our two adventurers visit an inventor who has a time machine. But each time they try to use the machine, something goes wrong.
Episode 25
Dog goes back to read the very first book he read - a simple picture book. He meets a series of animals who try to help him find the Wumpus.
Episode 26
Dog and Pug find Granny Pug by a pyramid. But they disturb two ancient Egyptian gods in the form of a cat and a dog.
Episode 27
Dog and Pug meet Little Red Riding Hood and they confuse the Big Bad Wolf by fooling him into chasing them.
Episode 28
Dog and Pug escape a very noisy bookshop to find Granny Pug, who is leading a mediation retreat. They are trying to find a peaceful spot.
Episode 29
Dog and Pug visit King Arthur in his castle, where he and his knights shout at each other at their Long Table. With the help of Merlin the magician, they decide to change the table to a Round Table.
Episode 30
This adventure is all about size. Dog and Pug meet an elephant and a mongoose who cannot play together because they are two completely difference sizes.
Episode 31
In their adventure, Dog and Pug meet Granny Pug, who makes them solve three puzzles. They solve all of them just in time, before Dog comes back to the bookshop and solves his own problem.
Episode 32
Dog and Pug go on an adventure to help Bedtime Baboon get all the young children around the world to sleep. They have to sprinkle moondust everywhere.
Episode 33
Dog and Pug go to Buckingham Palace, where they meet Queen Victoria. She is looking for her mysterious Cheshire cat, who keeps disappearing.
Episode 34
Dog and Pug decide to go holiday and use Granny Pug's guide to camping. They visit a music festival, a jungle and the top of a mountain.
Episode 35
Pug wants to write exciting stories, and our two friends meet Enid Brighton. She has a very vivid imagination and they go on an adventure to solve all of her mysteries.
Episode 36
Dog loses his voice, so Pug has to read a book. Pug goes on an adventure with the bookshop mice to enter the body of Dog and find his heart and tummy.
Episode 37
Dog and Pug help Doris the Donkey on her quest to become a unicorn. She has to pass three tests if she wants to succeed. Doris figures out that she is much better staying as a donkey and not being a unicorn after all.
Episode 38
Pug needs a story about how to be brave, so Dog and Pug meet the great Spanish knight Don Quixote and his partner, Sancho Panza.
Episode 39
Dog and Pug are talking about facts, and they go on an adventure to check one of Pug's. Although they get lost, they devise a new way of finding their way out and solving Pug's problem.
Episode 40
Pug wants to get closer to the stars, having looked at the night sky from the roof of the bookshop. On their travels Dog and Pug meet Granny Pug, who takes them on her spaceship.
Episode 41
Dog wants some high adventure, so he and Pug visit several different stories. Each time they arrive in their new story, they find that they are being chased by various characters.
Episode 42
Pug needs help balancing on his skateboard. He and Dog arrive at the circus, where they meet the Great Splendina.
Episode 43
Pug wants to break a world record. Dog suggests they go to the North Pole so that Pug can be the first pug to reach the Pole.
Episode 44
Dog and Pug go on an adventure underground, where they meet Granny Pug. They slide down a tunnel to the centre of the earth and meet lots of dinosaurs.
Episode 45
Dog finds the original book that starts all of his adventures. He shows Pug how he started the bookshop and how he read all the books, so he could recommend which books each customer should read.
Episode 46
Pug tries to remember an old nursery rhyme. He and Dog go to a fair where they meet the cat and the fiddle, the cow that jumps over the moon and the dish that ran away with the spoon.
Episode 47
Pug starts asking Dog for the answers to life's big questions. They go on an adventure with Granny Pug, who shows them that there are not always simple answers to difficult questions.
Episode 48
Pug is being competitive when he cleans the bookshop. He and Dog join a race in Australia. They help brother and sister kangaroos who are very competitive but get stuck in the mud.
Episode 49
Pug needs help mending his new see-saw. On their adventure our friends meet a troll who guards an old bridge so that the goats cannot cross it.
Episode 50
Dog and Pug go on an adventure and meet Camille the Chameleon. She is very good at hiding and also very shy.
Episode 51
Dog and Pug are trying to remember what they did yesterday. Their diary tells them that they found Granny Pug's lunchbox.
Episode 52
Pug makes a kite, but he doesn't know how to fly it.
