While the search continues, Carola makes a really bad, deep fall, with unsure prospects even after helicopter evacuation and hospitalization, so she asks for a lawyer to draw up papers so her very single ex Markus, who was neither consulted nor feeling qualified, may step in as Mia's 'father' if she dies, his own pa Franz already having bonded with her.
