Australia is home to some of the planet's most diverse and charismatic marine life, from five-centimeter baby turtles to 24-meter humpback whales. In this series, biologist and presenter Lizzie Daly embarks on a spectacular journey from the cold waters of South Australia to the tropical reefs of North Queensland to the wild currents of Western Australia. On his way across the coast, he explores some of the richest and most isolated seas in the world, meeting a variety of incredible animals, but also the incredible people who protect them. Through consultations with marine experts and Aboriginal rangers, Lizzie will gain extraordinary insight into Australia's unique ecology and discover what makes these waters so special.
