And things take an even stranger turn when the team discover that the family's house guest has mysteriously vanished, prompting her fiancé to fly out on a rescue mission. Also Neville's mum Melanie is in town for Christmas, much to Neville's chagrin.

We take a trip down memory lane as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson celebrates 50 years of police service at the Yacht Club...but the day takes a turn when he is shot and rushed to hospital. Even more shockingly, we've seen whodunnit... or have we? The team put their own emotions aside and do everything they can to track down the man who seemingly shot Selwyn. But as they learn more about the assailant, the team are left perplexed; the man has no connection to Selwyn whatsoever, so why try and kill him? The team starts to uncover a multitude of secrets and lies at the Yacht Club - could one of Selwyn's dear friends be responsible for his shooting? Or what about a blast from the past, reformed yacht thief Marlon Collins, who ironically now manages the Yacht club. When Neville finally puts the pieces of the puzzle together, it transpires that nothing has been as it appears in this case.

Whilst Catherine finds herself entangled in the case, when an old friend becomes a murder suspect, Neville and the team dig deep and unravel secret after secret, soon realizing that nothing in this case is what it seems.

On first appearances, it seems like a tragic accident, but when Neville and the team investigate the computer repair shop where the victim worked, they discover a hidden world of data mining and crypto currency. It turns out the victim was stealing electricity in order to mine thousands and thousands in crypto. With so much money at stake, it soon becomes clear that this was no accidental death after all. The only problem is that all three suspects were together at the time of the victim's electrocution. So if it was murder, how did they do it?
