Susan Carson and her husband Michael - both of whom are mentally ill and abuse drugs - have a list of people that they think are witches that they wish to exterminate, and they go on to viciously murder three people. Both were sentenced to 75 years to life. 14-year-old Chelsea O'Mahoney becomes involved in a gang where she and three friends attack eight people in one night while videotaping the encounters; one man dies in their hands. Chelsea was sentenced to 8 years and her comrades received 12 years. In February 1980, Bob Banks and Bob Skeens give Pamela Perillo and her boyfriend James Briddle a place to live and money in exchange for helping around their apartment. Sadly, they make a big mistake, as one morning Pamela and James rob their hosts, strangle one to death, eat the coffee and donuts that they bought for them, and suffocate the other. Both were sentenced to death. James was executed in 1995 and Pamela's sentence was commuted to life plus 30 years, but was released in 2019.

Enraged at her parents and desperate for freedom, Dorothy shoots her mother in the head and goes partying afterwards. In prison, she appears to change her ways and begins to give lectures to teenagers on the dangers of delinquency. Brigitte Harris visits her sister and is surprised to see that also visiting is their child molester father who had been living in Liberia for several years. After he announces that he plans to return to Africa with his granddaughters; Brigitte handcuffs, suffocates and castrates her father to save her niece from a dreadful fate.

She manages to escape prison by using the poison to harm herself and spend the rest of her days paralyzed. Brookey Lee West was raised with her father teaching her Satanism, witchcraft and violence, while her mother engages in numerous affairs and neglects her and her brother. As an adult, the hatred planted in Brookey's childhood leads her to gag her now needy, elderly mother with a grocery bag, stuff her into a trash can and put her into storage, where it remained undisturbed for three years. She is currently serving life without parole.

Omaima was found guilty of second degree murder and was sentenced to 26 years to life in prison. Lyda Trueblood is an early 20th century woman with a penchant for poison. She uses arsenic to kill several relatives, including her husbands and her own daughter. After getting caught for the crimes, Lyda escapes, and almost commits another poison murder before getting caught. Lyda was paroled in 1941 and died of a heart attack in 1958. Amy DeChant is a businesswoman who falls for Las Vegas bookie Bruce Weinstein. Shortly into their relationship, Bruce uses his money to spoil Amy, who gets accustomed to living the good life, but when Bruce threatens to leave her, Amy kill him and robs him of over $100,000. She was sentenced to 25 years with the possibility of parole after 10 years.

High as a kiter, she fixed her problem by brutally stabbing her neighbor Melanie Sturton to death and stealing a few dollars and a gift card.

The adulterous affair between Anne Bradley and ex-Utah senator Arthur Brown, 30 years her senior, had been conducted for many years at the turn of the 20th Century. The love triangle between Bradley, Brown and his wife Isabel had played out in private and public, with lurid details revealed in court rooms and newspapers. When Arthur Brown's wife Isabel finally succumbed to cancer, Anne Bradley assumed that after seven years together she would take her rightful place next to the man who she loved and had fathered her youngest children, Arthur Brown Bradley and Martin Montgomery Brown Bradley. Marriage, however, was not on Brown's agenda and when he tried to move his long time mistress on she had other ideas. When he travelled to Washington for business she followed him and upon entering his hotel room she discovered letters indicating that he planned to marry another woman. When he returned an argument ensued in which Bradley shot Brown once in the stomach. He died six days later. At trial Bradley pleaded insanity and was acquitted, in large part due to public sympathy for her as a wronged woman.

In 1984, the two embark on a killing spree through several Midwestern states. Both were sentenced to death; Alton was executed in 2002 and Debra's sentence was commuted to life without parole. Janice Buttrum was neglected, abused and ostracized by her peers as a child, and at age 17, she is married, living in Dalton, Georgia, and expecting her second child. She and her husband Danny befriend Demetra Faye Parker, and in September 1980 they decide to use her in a sex game. Demetra is beaten and raped, and stabbed 97 times by Janice. Both are sentenced to death. Danny commits suicide and Janice's sentenced is later commuted to life without parole. Michelle Michaud begins a relationship with James Daveggio, with whom she abducts and rapes several young women, including her own daughter. In December 1997, they kidnap, rape, torture, and strangle 22-year-old Vanessa Lei Samson. Both were sentenced to death.

Feeling lonely while her husband, Jim, works nights, Marilyn Plantz seeks solace in the arms of a lover more than half her age. At her urging, her boyfriend and his friend murder her husband by beating him to death and then burning his body to make it look like an accident, so that Marilyn can collect his life insurance. She is sentenced to death and was executed in 2001 by lethal injection.

On the way, Nadean stabbed Cynthia in the throat and later, with her son reloading the pistol, "finished her off".

Alexander promises to leave his wife and marry Laura, but after 7 years of empty promises and lies from Alexander, Laura is tired of being the other woman, and shoots him in front of his wife. Laura is acquitted by reason of insanity. Money-hungry Australian Vicky Efandis manipulates her way into the life of wealthy house painter George Marcetta and eventually takes control of all his assets. When he is no longer of use to her, Vicky poisons his dinner with a sedative and then burns his house down while he's unconscious. She is sentenced to 20 to 24 years.

In late 1980s Chicago, Dorothy Williams is so desperate for cash to support her drug habit that she resorts to preying on the elderly. She strangles one man and stabs another to death, getting away with only $50 each time, and then strangles 97-year-old Mary Harris for her stereo system and $2 cash. She is given 3 life sentences.
