Sadie

Sadie, an unruly wallflower, is offered the chance to realise her dreams - but it means leaving home and everything she knows. She struggles with the decision, despite her boyfriend's failing promises, her best friend's anger, and her alcoholic mother's fall from the wagon. It's only when her mum incinerates her ballet slippers that Sadie's choice is made, and she hitches her way to the tunnel party in the hills to say goodbye to the world she knows. Sabotaged, betrayed and stood up, Sadie is determined to chase the freedom she is yearning for, until a fire leads to mass panic and a car crash in the hinterland that changes everything.

Laila

Abandoned and unable to face life without her best friend, Laila embarks on a hair-brained plan to keep Sadie from leaving. Once Laila realises how mad her scheme is, she attempts a midnight dash to unravel her mess, but it's all too late.

Aero

Aero is a handsome indigenous straight A student. He has worked so hard to destroy stereotypes of what he can do, achieve or be. He never goes to parties, but emotionally blackmailed into helping his trouble-prone cousin, he went to this one.

Episode 4

Zai

Zai has more serious secrets to keep than those unearthed by his nosy little sister. He should have been with Sadie on the night of the party, but he was too furious with her. Now his life is changed forever. He does his best to avoid Sadie's crazy best friend, Laila, terrified of what she knows.

Episode 5

Jed

Inseparable thrill-seeking identical twins, Ned and Jed Manos, are local legends known for their maniac stunts. Separated at the party, Ned has not come home and Jed suspects he had something to do with the accident.
