Episode 1
David explores the luxury of the 1930's aviation and climbs aboard a vintage steam train in the Pacific Northwest starting in Seattle and setting off on his first journey towards Los Angeles.
Episode 2
David takes a helicopter tour over Washington state and Mount St. Helens volcano which had a huge eruption in 1980. It killed over 50 people and David is shown the route of the lava from the air. He continues south to Portland and takes part in some Drag racing, which is a totally new experience for him. Then while in Portland he visits a factory that makes tractor trailers. He takes a trip in one on part of the Oregon Trail which brought almost half a million immigrants into this area in the 1800s. There is a lovely view of Mr. Hood.
Episode 3
The actor and national treasure takes a bus trip and rides a San Francisco cable car.
Episode 4
David continues his journey through America by hitching a ride on a wild west stagecoach and a vintage locomotive in California.
Episode 5
David Jason ends his journey by driving a stunt car, taking a News helicopter ride, meeting with hot rod fanatics and sampling Hollywood luxury in an expensive jet.
