Edna finds her small change jar, regularly alimented by Eli, robbed, as turns out by his father, for a somehow sweet purpose.

He now pushed Eli to avoid falling into a wasted life of regrets, but Veronica just found a fiancé, gaming fanatic Colt, which Eli finds practically his soul-mate rather then a rival to push aside.

Eli is determined to hate Colt, his engaged rival for Victoria, but the handsome, well-connected, generous, athletic traffic reporter keeps charming everyone, including Eli. Warner agrees to invite Colt for a home dinner in order to expose his bad qualities, but finds only more lovable ones. David decides to save on his Jewish funeral by preparing it himself alive, and manages to scam a dress rehearsal at the funeral parlor, which gets far worse out of hand then the all but flattering speeches as nobody can think of a redeeming quality.
