Liu Bang (Nan Xing Li) works as a senior vice president in a bank and his wife Xin Bei (Ann Kok) is a full time housewife. In order to enroll his daughter into a good school, he decides to move to an apartment nearby and becomes neighbour with Zheng Kang. Zheng Kang's (Hanwei Chen) family is the complete opposite of Liu Bang's. Zheng Kang is a full time house husband and his wife Mei Hui (Cynthia Koh) is the sole breadwinner of the family. As a result, Liu Bang looks down on him. But the global financial crisis gets Liu Bang fired from his job. To salvage his pride, he tries to keep it under lid but is exposed before too long. Xin Bei finds work as an assistant editor in a publishing firm to help out with the family's finances. She rediscovers her own capability while Liu Bang wallows in self-pity. But with Zheng Kang's help, Liu Bang finally comes to terms with his role as a house husband and even grows closer with his daughter as a result. But opportunity comes knocking and Liu Bang is offered a job overseas, will he give up the family ties he had build up and take up the offer?
