He sees that the man is an Air Marshall and he discovers the man's weapon is missing. But when he checks the man out, he discovers that the man is not the Marshall. So he calls Stella and informs her of what happened and that he is coming back and to be ready. He has Danny and Flack go to the hotel room where the real Marshall stayed and find him dead. When Mac arrives he tries to process everyone but learns that he only has a limited amount of time to find the killer before everyone who was on the plane is released.
