Retired Navy officer Irvin Bull found the perfect quiet community in the suburbs of Las Vegas, Nevada, to call home. Late one summer night, a knock on the door wakes Irvin from his slumber. When the knocking turns to violent banging, he moves quickly on impulse and soon finds himself with his gun cocked and aiming it at the door seconds before two hooded intruders come blasting through it.

In the quiet Ocala, Florida neighborhood that Gary Wroblewski has called home for twenty-five years, he is known by his neighbors as a brilliant engineer with a heart of gold. These attributes are put to the test when a seemingly Good Samaritan considered wheelchair-bound Gary to be an easy target. Little did he know Gary is a master of self-preservation.

In Pahrump, Nevada College Professor Tom Huggins comes to the aid of his housekeeper and her young daughter when a vicious career criminal targets their home next door with the worst intentions. Tom rushes to their defense in the dead of the night after the would-be intruder tries kicking in their door.

The Art of Defense

It's an ordinary summer day at Starblaze Jewelers in Atlanta, Georgia. All that abruptly changed when Owner and Jewelry designer Gary Salter and his Sales Manager Anna come face to face with three brazen criminals who enter the jewelry shop, armed and dangerous. Gary leaps into action and takes the fight to the armed Thugs intent on defending Anna, Himself, and his store.

Marvin Bowdoin and his wife Linda are beloved members of the community of Juliette, Georgia, and their Bowdoin's Grocery Store has been a neighborhood staple for more than six decades. Late one night, after packing up their store as they have done countless times, they drive a quarter-mile up the road to their modest home and tuck in for a quiet night. Just minutes later, everything suddenly changes when a shotgun-toting masked intruder violently kicks in their door, threatening to take Marvin and Linda's lives.

Knox County Tennessee Commissioner and gun rights activist Gary "Lumpy" Lambert never imagined having to use his weapon for self-defense until he found himself in a life and death situation with a customer at his car dealership. The Golden Rule

In Golden, Colorado, David Strickland heads off to work on a cold and wintry morning. While away, his real estate broker goes about her business with several showings of David's house that he has up for sale. Upon returning home, David's day turns extremely dangerous when he is confronted and must defend his property and himself from a delusional home intruder who has made himself quite comfortable in David's home.

On a hot summer afternoon in Lithonia, Georgia, David Fendley operates his Pawn Shop like any other day. That is until a crazed, knife-wielding criminal rushes into his pawnshop and threatens to take his life. Staring down danger, it's win, lose or draw for David...he decides to draw.

In Salt Lake City, Utah, the Millcreek Pharmacy has been a cornerstone of the community for more than 50 years, and owners Rod Dunn and his son Jason know almost every customer by name. Being robbed is the nature of their business, so when Jason observes a scary shadowy-looking guy enter their pharmacy, his instincts take over as the first line of defense against the crazed armed robber.

In Ogden, Utah, author and rare coin expert Alan Van Arsdale didn't see it coming on a quiet afternoon when a masked criminal charges into his antique coin shop. Alan suddenly finds himself eye to eye in a heated stand-off with a gun sighted at his head.

Episode 17

The Peacekeeper

For the Mayor of Yuma, Arizona, Alan Kreiger, it was just a normal day until the unexpected happened. While parked in his truck minding his own business, an out-of-control SUV plows into a stop sign next to him then speeds off recklessly through a school zone. With adrenaline pumping, Alan gives chase and traps the SUV on a dead-end road. That's when the emotionally distraught SUV driver decides to violently attack the Mayor, unaware the Mayor is prepared to protect himself and the community.
